1. I think it may have been me that said it was probably not necessary on an FG. That was a while ago though. It won't do any harm in giving it a go so if you're keen then go for it. My car now has 25+kms on it and it may be something that I do next service and see if there's a gain to be had.
2. There are quite a few FG F6 bars on the market as well. Seems like a long way around if you buy a GT bar and then try and modify it.
3. The guts of the cat or mufflers hasn't collapsed?
4. Piping, yes. Elbow to throttle body, no. The Plazmaman kit includes all the components in the link you posted. It does not include the elbow that goes onto the throttle body. I have this kit fitted to my car. Easy replacement of the flimsy factory plumbing and a lot more spool whistle.
5. If you have to remove the door trim to fit a new speaker, you may as well go to town with the deadener while you're there. I used a product similar to Dynamat, but less than half the price off ebay.
6. As I mentioned on the other forum, that has nothing to do with the PCV circuit. What you want is the breather to the crossover fitting.
7. 5 or 6 speed? Try Mal Wood Auto for a good setup. He is a site sponsor and has great prices on packages.
8. Do it once. Do it right. Don't band-aid it.
9. Yes only $500 each, but at 12 inches wide I don't think they would be suitable.
10. When you installed your new HID globes, Power Sound Vision, did you make any adjustments to the direction of the beams? This may be the cause of the 'flashing'.
11. Considering you didn't mention which model car, try this link or this department. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=52165
12. That random shaft you're referring to, is actually a bolt. It looks like what is called a caphead screw and will have an allen key hole in the end of it. Only way to fix that is to drop the whole rear subframe out to repair it, or use a holesaw and cut a hole in your spare tyre well to gain access to it. I tend to agree with SPIKO about it being too long, and definately bodgy.
13.
Air to air engine oil cooler kit.
Bump
14. It'd probably do an 8 if he launched it hard.
15. No good mate. Got a youtube clip instead?
16. Amazing what you can find with a little bit of research isn't it?
17. Have you looked under the bonnet of the latest Landcruiser or Hilux?
18. Go and have a read of the Nizpro forum where Simon gives a good description on the subject. And not all manufacturers use Blow off valves either.
19. I don't think you will be able to just 'change the impeller'. You will need to get it re balanced after fitting any internal components to the turbo charger.
20. You sure about that mate? You must be well misinformed.
21. Correct f-wolf. Info is located in the engine section. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/Aftermarket-Oil-Filter-Adaptor-t52165.html
22. I wouldn't exactly call it an issue. I've got different tyres on now as the standard ones wore out. The Kumho's that I have are definately quieter than the Dunlops though. And cheaper.
