  1. The pressure switch in the seat won't know the difference between an adult and a child. All it will tell the system is that someone, or something, is on the seat. It's not that smart of a car.
  2. Amazing what some forums will post. AFF Technical Resources - Content
  3. I bought mine from a member off here. They are available from Ford, for a massive premium though....
  4. Mine is all loose leaf and not bound. But I'm willing to send it anywhere. Took me long enough to get hold of it in the first place. Not to mention the potential Copyright infringements if you try and post it on here. Edit: should say 'I'm not willing to send it anywhere.' Sorry.
  5. There is no PDF. Unless someone has pulled a complete set apart and scanned it.
  6. ZAP, this doesn't really make sense "and IF the impellers on the hot side have failed and gotten into the motor, you would have heard a lot more than a scraping sound. The motor would be much noisier as the pistons would be damaged." The hot side of the turbo has a turbine wheel and it wouldn't damage the pistons as this side of the turbo is on the other side of the exhaust valves. How can anything get back to the pistons from that side? If it was from the compressor side, then yes maybe.
  7. If it's not plumbed back then yes, that port should be blocked.
  8. Last time I bought it, $85 per bottle. The joys of remote living.
  9. I'm not certain but will take a stab. If it's a climate control unit then there is the ambient temp sensor that is part of the l/h wing mirror.
  10. If it's a manual, 4th gear will be used.
  11. I believe Corzza had the same issue with his F6. Turbo was replaced in the end.
  12. The sound is crap, but it is the only way you can get the colour screen in the car.
  13. Sump and engine mounts are different. I don't think a BF engine will fit in an FG chassis because of this.
  14. Low stress mate. I'm not mounting it under the parcel shelf anymore. I've decided on a slightly different boot layout.
  15. I use Penrite SIN 15. It is the correct type of oil for the XR6T engine and I have regular oil samples to monitor the engine. 26k+ kms so far so good.
  16. I don't use it in my brakes yet, as I'm waiting to do an upgrade, but I do use the Penrite SIN fluid in my clutch. Can't fault it so far.
  17. No offence Kice, but the amount of work you've done to every aspect of your car I would have thought you wouldn't even contemplate thinking, let alone trying, about a warranty claim. Especially considering the amount of folding stuff you've outlayed to get where you are now.
  18. Have you bought your speakers yet? If not, most Alpine splits come with an adaptor to fit the factory mounting holes. I take it your car is a B series? This is what I've done to my FG. http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/Fg-Stereo-Install-t53544.html
  19. Dud link unless you're a member, bjc.
  20. As much of the outside skin as you can physically reach. Not only will it help your speaker but it will cut some more road noise out.
  21. And it is a bolt on and play pipe kit. You just don't get that elbow that incorporates the sensor. PVS, have you tried refitting the elbow to the rubber connector dry and with a new clamp?
  22. Sorry mate, over a year ago I bought and installed it. Can't remember.
  23. Mine were exactly the same in that spot. I now have a Plazmaman pipe kit fitted for peace of mind. Running 15psi through them you must have a tune?? How much power were you getting with that tune?
