  1. My question is what kind of RPM willl the be pumping out to 1. meet emission standards 2. pull 300Kw. Me hopes for a high RPM 302. something ballpark to the BMW's or old school Ferrari's.
  2. Cheers, that's the answer I was looking for. They look SH!T HOT and I really didn't want to get rid of them.
  3. Hey Guys, been in a member for a bit but only just bought my first XR6T (BFI, six speed auto, 65000k's) and have a question about the wheels on my car. It came with a set of Koya 20x8.5 on the front and a set of 20x10 on the back running 245's on thefront and 275's on the rear. I'm planning on getting a flash tune, to go along side the F6 CAI, Hi-Flo cat, and K&N I've just fitted. Hoping for a ballpark figure of 275rwkw. With that info, will having the wide treads on the rear cause any 'resistance' problems with my driveline/diff/tranny? I love the look of the wheels, and desire some more power, but don't wanna destroy my car either.
  4. I have my XR6T with Suncorp, and have it rolled in with my house and bike. They undercut everyone else by about $10 a month on the car alone. My best mate just got an '06 WRX (same year as mine) and his insurer NRMA, said that the reason they couldn't match mine was my XR6T wan not a Hi-performance car and his WRX is... Has anyone elses insure stated that the XR6T is not a Hi-performance vehicle?
  5. I've been a silent member of this forum for a while now, and only recently (3 days ago) purchased an 11/05 BF XR6T with 62000kms and a set of 20"x8" on the front and 20"x10" wheels on the rear. Toxic in colour, and possibly the cleanest straightest example I could find on the market. Mod wise it's stock apart from the wheels, and after reading the First Mods Post I'm impressed, it's made me realise that a bit of time and care in my choices can give a far better outcome, along with the same power, and a lot more reliability... Cheers guys, your input to this new member, has potentially saved me $$$$ without the 'fatherly lecture' on the cost of too much power etc. and given me a starting point.
