Yeah I think I have seen your car round too. We need to all get together for a meet and greet, there seems to be quite a few CQ boys about.

I went from a vt commy, to the BF XR6t and then no more than 2 months later have wound it up to 330rwkw. I'm impressed don't get me wrong, but after having only bought the commy in 2005 and having ridden 1000cc sportbike for the 9 years leading up to that and still on a CBR 1000rr, I'm still searching for that 'rush' the Litre bikes give you when you feed it to them and your arms wanna rip out of their sockets. I know it probably sounds stupid to some, but I learnt very quickly when I got my first big bike that the wright wrist controlls the twist, in other words the bike throttle will only do what your wrist tells it to do, never more, and certainly never less. I feel it's the same with the car. I'm happy with my 330 atm, but I'm putting some serious thought into my next move. 1. bf2 F6 than go straight for a full kit and some internal mods 2. trick this one out more 3. move into a turbo territiry of an FGxr6/F6. My driving style has changed, I now tickle instead of tramp, but the goal still remains the same. Power, finess, and drivability with a little mayhem in there for thrills.

I love a good ICEBREAK LOADED, can be found at most service stations, corner shops, or occassionally half full bottles next to the road (they aren't as cold, but will do).

So, were you using an xforce cat? What did they replace it with?

Mine runs off the pipework right next to my battery. It seems to be a lot louder in the position 'out in the open' so to speak, that why I purchased one that has plumb back, and vent, and 17 adjustments in between. I ordered the new trumpet tonight, should arrive the same time my BOV does.

Hey the BOV valve you are looking for is a Go Fast Bits BOV, any type that can fit an XR6T but with their "whistle" trumpet. Looks more like a whistle than a trumpet coming off the side of the BOV. You will obviously need a Go Fast Bits BOV in order to use their attachment but it makes a short whistle burst. I've just purchased my BOV and am going to be getting one of these shortly. They sell for around the $35 mark. I got a BF1 for $23000, with a set of 20 inch wheels, and only 60000k's on it 3 months ago. I've seen a few Bf2's with around 100000 K's for around the same price the car you are looking at is advertised for. I know they will have no mods, but they do have a stronger bottom end, and for say $2500 / $3000 on top of your purchase price you could hit the 300rwkw mark with a bit more reliability and the knowledge that you have modded the car too, not someone else. Just my oppinion, some one else may have a different view.

Short term I went for the F6 snorkel, but as stated above I also am heading down the process west CAI path shortly, it allows for the plenum etc.

Here is the pic of the screen when the car was on the dyno. Notice the boost. Spoke to Dave on the weekend,and am planning a trip to Mackay soon to see how it goes. I'd like to break into the 11's, but it's also gonna be my first time on the strip so we'll have to wait and see. Should arrange a cruise up that way and then have a showing at the test and tune day, if anyone's interested

I'm in the process of getting some Toxic mixed up for my Icc and the strips across the middle of the dash. I'm also contemplating maybe a red pearl in the clear coat. Will post pics when done. Is the yellow a toxic or citric rush?

My neighbour fitted one to the exhaust of his WRX for sh*ts and giggles, right at the back after the rear muffler... sounds like a helicopter when he turns his car on, and has an awesome spool/exhaust note under revs... and he said it's definately given him an increas in wank-power, pmsl. about all they are good for.

I run 275/30/20's on the rear of my car and can buy them here in Emerald in Central Queensland for $320 fitted and balanced. My fronts are 245/30/20's and they are $260 each fitted and balanced. They are only Nankang wheels, but being so wide on the back they hook up reasonably well. My only drama is keeping the tyre pressure in them. The bloke who supplies them here doesn't make much on car tyres but most of his money on farm machinery, try finding a dealer who does both, and see if you can bring the price down on your tyres. He's doing me 285's for $370 fitted and balanced next time.

yeah, I'm really happy with it. So much so that my CBR1000rr is now for sale as well, rode it today and was a little suprised how hard the car now pulls compared to bike. Wanna make the car match it And yeah, it is a BF1. My only concerns are (apart from that awesome boost) are a rattle that seems to be coming from around the dump pipe cat joining area, like loose bolts/metal rattling. I've checked all the bolts, and they are tight, the dump pipe has no movement whatso ever, and the rattling seems to only be only some of the time... Hoping it's the heat sheild but some others input would help put my mind at rest.

Sorry to see this... Some on here will understand moreso than others, there is a feeling like someone pulling your heart out through your arse , a somewhat gutting feeling when someone elses ignotance takes a vehicle you love away... feel for ya, hope all ends well. Perhaps an insurance funded FG F6?
