  2. it depends if you wand dish or not. I went no dish on the ttg as it gives the illusion of a bigger wheel, and lets face it, on a terry only using 20's I needed to make them look bigger. I included the same wheel in black.
  3. just realised I replied to a post from 2007... anyhow... that info would be great, lol.
  4. Your intake manifold/ plenum... what brand? how much? and where from? Cheers in advance.
  5. Oh yeah... it's a Honda Fury. lol. Probably the most comfy cruiser I've ever riden, and it looked hot off the showroom floor.
  6. I started out on a Suzuki gsx250f in 98, then in 99 got an rgv250, then in 2000 went to a 96 ZX9R Ninja, then a 2001 cbr929rr blade (the first bike I wrote off) then in 2004 I bought new a CBR1000rr in the red whit and blue. It's now on the market as I've got one of these and having 2 bikes the blade just doesn't get ridden enough.
  7. I've got a set of 18's off a 2010 Turbo Territory with tyres that have only done 15000k's going cheap if you are interested. PM Me. Cheers, matt. I've been looking at whiteline swaybars, and have spoken to a few mates with lowered territorys, and they have all gone for pedders coils, and a couple have added the sportrider shocks as well. This is my next avenue to go down.
  8. Nah not on the roads out here in central qld. The 20's on the falcon were destroyed in months, and 22's on irs towing a 2 tonne wake boat doesn't seem like such a good idea, lol.
  9. definately need lower profile tyres, and to pull some height out of the suspension. was thinking some xyz coilovers so I can maintain some of the comfort in the ride.
  10. yeah, lol. I promised the missus that whats dodne is done and that's it, lol. She read my post, and after seeing a lowered terry today on 19's she wants it lowered now. So I'm saving my pennies.
  11. Okay, I've been promosing for a long while some pics, and the other day at the in-laws I took a couple of quick pics cos the 'big'girl' was clean. Mod's so far are... De-bunged exhaust Hi-flo filter and 2nd F6 CAI Kicker 8" Sub Pioneer Amp Soundstream 6.5 inch components in the rear Soundstream 6.5 inch components up front with tweeters 20" 'Giovanna Dallar 5V Chrome' wheels 275/45/20 Lexani tyres 'TURBO' chrome badges on each rear door I optioned the vehicle with all the bells and whistles, and had the windows in the front tinted illegally to match the pricacy glass in the rear. Still to come is a smaller tyre on the wheels, lowering and a plazmaman territory cooler kit and a tune from Dave at cpv in mackay. Hope you like.
  12. yeah, bout to post pics up...
  13. I hate digging up an old thread, but I've fitted 20's to the TTG with 275/45/20's and next tyre change I'm going to chuck a slimmer set of tyres on it and a lower profile to allow me to lower it. Now that times have moved along, senna, and who ever else, what are your views on lowering the TTG while it sits on 20's and has DSC? CHEERS!
  14. I paid $55k in december for a turbo ghia in black with all the bells and whistles, it was a demo with 8k on the clock. So that price you've listed seems very good in my oppinion. I'll be keeping my car for the next 3 years to come, and hopefully there will be a blown 5l v8 in an fpv terry (DREAMING)!

let me know how it goes with the water/methanol injection? I'm having thoughts about this on the ttg so I can stick with the top mount cooler and keep the standard look.
  16. I have a turbo territory... anyone know if this mob will be able to do me an FG hotside with a Ba/BF cold side? Do you guys think this would work well on the territory?
  17. sambo, I fitted my BF1 sump to my Fg block no problems. Might be worth while just getting a new sump when you get your short motor. If I did things again, I would have pplanned it out a little more, and bought a block and crank from ford, and pistons, rods and rings from spool. (only cos I was on a budget). This would have been a reliable 450rwkw motor, and only cost me an extra day in assembly, and about $1000 more. than the short motor.
  18. I hit the cruiser, flipped over the bonnet, hit my head comin down, and landed near a school car wash at a service station. My knee was hurtin like all hell, and my arms were above my head so I want to slide myself off the road, and for some reason my right hand kept missing the ground, when I looked at it I was holding my arm as though I was looking at a watch on the wrong hand, but I could see my finger tips pointing at me, and this grey pointy thing where my wrist was, after a couple of seconds it clicked that it was my bone on the outside, and I couldn't get my helmet off quick enough, lol. The vomit was comin and fast, lol. what bike were you on?
  19. LOVE IT!!!
  20. Hit a Land Cruiser that pulled out in front of me on my fireblade in 2004... 80kph to 0kph instantly... well it hurt, lol. The broken arm was a dislocated bone on the lhs, and a compound fracture on the rhs... but that didn't hurt as much as my balls, one was as big as a softball, the other a base ball, lol. check out the dent in the tank from my knackers, pmsl.
  21. and the updates are where... lol
  22. pmsl
  23. Piping is easy, getting the cooler to fit would be a pain, but then again if you're gonna grind, you might as well do it to fit the cooler YOU want. I'm thinking about a long cooler for my territory, that isn't very high, as a lot of the cooler would be covered by the front bar etc, I was looking at the HKS coolers, seem like an easy substitute.
  24. I cleaned the inside of the car today, and will give it a good tub tomorrow so hopefully I'll throw up some pics tomorrow night, fingers crossed.
  25. rebuild if the block and bores are okay, otherwise buy a new block, and new pistons, rods, brgs, and wack it all together. I blew my motor and put a new fg f6 short motor in it... I forever REGRETTED that move, and wish I had used the crank and put atomic pistons and rods through it. At least that way you will have peice of mind. I was forever second guessing my tune, any noises by not putting good gear in it and just an fg f6 short motor. For the sake of an extra $500 to $1500 I destroyed any joy I had of driving the car, so much so that I sold it and bought a turbo territory. Hope this helps.
