that's my old car in the video (I sold it on, and then all these video's were made by the bloke that took it off my hands) and yes it had a bent blade from dropping the turbo during an attempted port and flapper mod I was doing when I was replacing the engine after I blew the first motor up. But, to be honest it was an 'educated' guess as it didn't make the noise pre dropping, but made the noise after. and we thought if it was a bent sheft it woulf have self destructed, and there was little to no play in the shaft. My advice is take it to a reputable tuner and spend a couple of hundred having them sus it out. If it needs replacing, good and well, that's better than it going ka-boom!

The only thing I would say to people is it's run like a bodybuilding competition. I lost 4 KG's in the last 7 days, water depleting, and carb depleting and loading. I looked like this for that day, and that day only. The 2 weeks following I gained about 3-4kg, but a lot of that was water weight that I had shed for the final photo. I did learn how to eat right though, and about training with a purpose.

I did the Max's 12 week challenge last year to see if I could do it. I ended up in the top 100 as voted by the pubic (60th I think), and won a prize pack for being part of a team, that did really well. I've been focusing on putting on muscle, and keeping my fat below 25% since the challenge ended. The people who did best, were on their second attempt, so I'm giving it some serious consideration. I will be supporting my wife while she does it, as she's having 2 vertebrae in her lower back fused and a disc replacement as well, and her recovery will be in line with the challenge.

Hey guys! I've recently purchased a 2nd hand FG F6 with 85000kms on it. I'd got the ZF in it, and is stocko. I previously had a BF Xr6T and went through the usual ZF replacement filter kit, centre diff bush, etc. The FG F6 has a knock coming from the right rear side on occasional bumps, and almost sounds like the suspension bottoming out on a bump stop. But on WOT it gets the heavy bump, and when I shut the throttle down suddenly from hard acceleration or WOT it gets the heavy bump too. A few searches have shed light on any number of things, from the exhaust, to suspension, diff bushes etc... My thoughts are, as I purchased the car from a Ford Dealership, and I live more than 250km from said dealership, I can take the car to a 'preferred serviceplace' for warranty issues. My nearest city is Rockhampton in Central Queensland, and they have a Pedders, and a recently opened Fulcrum Suspension Shop. Should I just take the car in, have it put on the hoist and inspected? If so, what are the areas I need to be aware that the FG's have issues with? Cheers in advance guys and gals!

I have a really big soft spot for the inline 6. I would have loved a Miami, but this was too perfect. ...and yes, turbo cars go BBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

I did previously have a modded XR6T, you have probably seen the videos of it being flogged buy the guy who bought it, it's the toxic one with the turbo that sounds like a blower doing some pretty full on skids. What it taught me is that things should be done right the 1st time. I wasted about 10k replacing things because I wasn't happy with them. I've decided to do it right the 1st time & play it safe and go with a Process west stage 3 kit, 4 inch turbo back exhaust, surge tank, CAI, injectors, flapper valve & port, and tune from CPV in mackay. I have heard about a 'spark booster' that goes in the kick panel, so will look at one of them too, and probably a ZF tune... BUT all these will have to wait, as I'm not in any hurry, and am just looking forward to owning my dream car.

It's been YEARS since I was here and well, I'm BACK! Last time I posted was a couple of years ago, after selling my Toxic XR6T (TOX16) and purchasing a Turbo Territory Ghia, I faded away from the forum. Then we sold the TTG on and I got the Mrs a FJ Cruiser. Well... I've finally got my arse back into a ford and this time it's an FPV F6! I figured that since they arent making anymore, and I'm not getting any younger, I'd butter the Mrs up and see if she would let me buy a new toy.

Got my 30th in the Gold Coast in a couple of weeks, and my missus busted out some old videos/pics of us 'back in the day'... b4 shuffeling was shuffeling, when fat pants and baggy jeans with slits up the sides were the only way to dress at a rave... we're hittin it hard 1 time when we get there, but fmd, I don't think I could dance for 5 minutes the way I used to, without giving myself a heart attack, and we used to do it from 10pm till 5 am and then hit an after party or a day club to keep at it, lol. I was listening to some of the tracks u guys have posted, and it gets the blood pumping but f*ck me how old do I feel, lol.

I love that video... I thought of it as well when I saw 'wicked' in the title. lol.

http://www.youtube.com/embed/lgoUMVtEkow http://www.youtube.com/embed/cXyv2wGAG2c The sound clip comes from a phone and doesn't do it justice, but the burnout will clarify it a bit.

CBXRT... it's in there... somewhere around when he was the first person to run Atomic stage 5 cams, about the same time he pulled over 1000rwhp, and ran a 9 sec 1/4 mile in the ute. But then again, I guess that unsubstantiated rubbish too lol.
-
How much did you get for it bonjaz? I'm Starting to do my research and looking into another one, I'm thinking a Manual BF2 ute or manual BF2 Sedan... The missus had drawn the line with the TTG, so I'm selling my bike, and buying a 4 wheeled toy, lol.
-
You obviously havent heard Kents (Dus12) ute at idle... V8 boys cream when they hear it, then cry when they find out it's an inline 6, lol.

WOW... I'd be calling The fair trade ombudsman etc... Sound like this guys ego is bigger than his fully sick tuning ability! Makes you appreciate people like dave, elite, simon, ratter, cv, tunehouse etc.
