So I just got my ZF serviced, and had a steel pan and replacement filter fitted, the technician working on the tranny said everything was sweet, and he couldn't believe that the car had been running with 360rwkw and the tranny was still in such good condition, so that was a positive. Then I went to get my new centre diff bush fitted, dropped it off at lunch and picked it up at 5pm. One bush in the front rhs needs replacing soon, and my brakes are shot (contacting Hiro this week for some newies), but otherwise they said that for a car that's done 90,000ks the car could pass for having done 30, said that even the shocks were in gread condition and still firm... WOOHOO! I drove the car for maybe 50kms and the 'dunk' noise is back... I've checked the spare tyre, gone over the WHOLE car twice, and am now thinking maybe I should take it to pedders in rockhampton (3 hours from here, and the closest suspension shop) and have the $29 inspection. Anyone got any ideas.?
