  5. This problem is sorted. I had to get an on-car tailshaft balance done at Ford... The car is running good now.

  7. I`ve had the exact same problem with mine. . . My T56 was put in about 4 months ago and ever since had the same vibration you have in the same rev range. I have since removed the complete rear end and had it overhauled, I`ve also had a on car tailshaft balance done at ford, and still haven`t gotten rid of the vibration. The next thing to do is remone the box and send it back for warranty. . . I`ll keep you posted.
  8. Yeah thrust bearing was new. . . But after speaking to mal wood he seems to think that I might of damaged the pressure plate on the clutch seeing that I did give it a very hard time.
  9. Thanks for the comments. Gonna rip the box out next weekend and give everything another look over, maybe change the thrust bearing again. . . "USE FAST REPLY. NO NEED TO QUOTE ABOVE POST" RHR
  10. I put an aftermarket one in first, then swaped it with a second hand factory one that I borrowed for a little while, and I found the vibration didn`t differ. I`m starting to lean towards a clutch bearing now, I`ve gone through absolutley everthing from the gearbox back. . .
  11. jus wondering if any of you guys have had this problem. I`m getting a minor vibration in the driveline somewhere, when I accelerate and decelerate but it seems to be worse when decelerating... The vibration goes away when I disengage the clutch or put it in neuteral. The problem arose when I replaced the pasenger side rear CV. I have sent the car to a diff specialist and had the cradle removed, the diff dissasembled and totally overhauled, replaced all bearings and reassembled. I`ve also changed the centre bearing and had an on car tailsaft balance done at ford. . . even they sent me home scratching their heads. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. the car is a BA with a T56 and option 2 clutch
  12. No, not jus in higher gears but in all gears. It`s most noticeabie in first, second and third. But it does it in forht and fifth and only under load. After the first tune, I took it straight back complaining about a suge and the tuner thought he had smoothed it out, but it`s only noticeable on the street and not the dyno. (Mind you the tuner was a very respectable Sydney tuner). I rang him again and he mentioned to me that some of thses 6T`s have had this problem and left it at that. . . Since then I`ve added a cooler and about to add injectors and pump. I`m gonna get it re-tuned and see what happens. . . . Maybe I`ll try another tuner.
  13. I got a funny feeling it`s not the auto cause mine is doing it and I`ve got a 5 speed. . . . .
  14. I`ve got the excact same problem on my BA, but I can tell you it is not the intercooler. I had mine flash tuned before I installed my Hdi intercooler and it was surging the same way you have described. What I`ve actully noticed is that it has got a bit better since I put the cooler on.
  15. I`ve bought one and fitted it last week. A few things you need to know, firstly they hang a bit low. my car is lowered and jus makes it up most drivemays. Also it`s not just a bolt on kit. I had to do quite a bit of chopping to my lower bar (front spoiler). As for performance I`m very happy with it, I noticed quite a difference, saying that, my car needs a re-tune. . .
