  1. Forgot to mention this again.. basically your saying not to get a new 'head unit' rather connect the amp and speakers up to the oriigina sound system that's in place now? If so, will my steering wheel; Seek.. and volume contols still work? One last question.. What is the difference between connecting everything up to the factory standard cd player.. and getting a new head unit in with mp3???
  2. Thanks man.. will really take all of that into consideration.. just watchin origin atm.. bout time Queenland start playing better! Quick quesiton, do you know of any tutorials that tell alot about looking at the currrent deck.. getting power to it and the wiring? Iv found this obviously and it has some picutures.. but id like more?
  3. For a cheap yet effective head unit.. with the speakers.. good ones in the front.. "fillers" in the back .. an effective amp with a sub.. how much am I looking around? Really.. what would be your decsion if im wanting to spend under a grand to get the most out of it? Also, iv seen some tutorials.. but you woldnt have seen a tutorial about pulling apart the stock 02 ba deck and whats behind it.. I got the tissue box holder out... but am only able to see the power source lead.. nothing else? Hopefully you have seen one with many more pictures? Thanks in advance.
  4. Thanks man, Guess this is kinda stupid.. but I was under the impression that a headunit was just the 'face' of the cd player. (the thing with all the knob and play, plause stop buttons.. the thing that I would most likely have to put where the tissue box holder is?
  5. First things first.. live in jimboomba.. not too far from brisbane/gold coast.. id like to get a sub.. and get better speakers.. unlike my bro.. dont really want to spednd thousands.. maybe grand tops?? Not really sure.. really appreciate it for helping.. just want to know what are my options.. etc.. Rob
