Hi guys, I wouldnt worry about it too much mate. My dealer told me on the 18th August that my car hadnt left the production plant & it turned up there the next afternoon, had it on the 25th. Just try and be patient & you may get a welcome suprise?? PS - They are well worth the wait, incredible car for $50,000 - XR6T Sedan in my case.

Yeah mate, after spending about 1.5 hours @ the dealers waiting for someone to finish up the paperwork I finally got to drive it away, never to return lol. Couldnt be happier, for a $50,000 car its like HOLY sh*t!! This weekend will be a corker!! CANT WAIT

Hi guys, I might get mine by October hopefully. It turned up @ the dealers on Tuesday & is still sitting in exactly the same spot, hasnt moved. They havent even rang me to advise of a pick-up day, NOT HAPPY!!

Hey guys, Yeah I agree, thanks for SIDO information at the drop of a hat. GUESS WHAT, mine was just delivered to the dealer too, had a phone call from them @ 4.30pm saying it was there. Hopefully get it in my dangerous hands Monday I would say, dealer will ring back tomorrow advising of a pick up time. BEST NEWS IVE HAD ALL YEAR!! PS - Thanks again SENNA.

Hey Senna, My dealer has no idea. I was wondering how you did that check on my SIDO ?? They seem to think my car wont be arriving until @ least mid next week. FORD CRC said delivery to dealer should be today - 19/8 & the dealer is saying 27/8. I have no patience left, especially when I no longer have my own car. Would you be able to confirm that it should definetely be @ the dealer any day now?? Can you find out when it left the factory?? PS - Sorry for being a nuisance, might have to come visit with a case of beer. YOU NAME YOUR PRICE.

Rang the dealer, they dont particularly want to help me & even rang the FORD customer relations centre, they couldnt really help me either. Having no car due to selling 06 WRX because my new FG XR6T was supposed to be in my garage by now is getting near impossible to deal with. Hi guys, Thanks for the quick responses. One more question, does anyone know the average transport time for TOLL to get the cars from Melbourne to the dealer (im in the Upper Hunter Valley - approx. 3 hours north of Sydney). What do you think is a reasonable timeframe, as my FG - T apparently left the factory yesterday/today??

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone out there knows which options the dealer can fit. I have ordered a FG XR6 TURBO which should be @ the dealer this coming week & was wondering if the dealer can fit the SAT - NAV system into the 7inch in - dash display?? I didnt originally order it, but now having seen one with it & liking it changed my mind. Any help would be great.

Hi all, FINALLY, after ordering my FG XR6T on the 13th May I have received some more information. Had a phone call today advising that my car was finished on Wednesday 6/8 & is due to be put on a truck on Friday 8/8 for arrival @ the dealer in the Hunter Valley NSW by the following Friday 15/8. THIS IS AWESOME!! - just hope it all pans out like that, fingers crossed. SIDO - 382924.

Hi Dave, Just after mine was contracted to FORD (early June) one of the guys from fleet looked at a few XR6 TURBO orders for me to see how far they were from delivery (yours was one). How did you persuade fleet to give you your SIDO number?? I think I have spoken to every single one of those suckers (not one of them wants to help me) in regards to a SIDO number, they all say that it is not available until late July (that is BS, dealer says it should be available first week July). It shouldnt be this hard, ridiculous is the word that comes to mind.

Just wondering when you placed your order through fleet & what delivery month you were given?? I placed my order on 13th May, got contracted on 4th June & the contract says August delivey. Did you know you can track our orders via the LAN?? Your T is scheduled to land @ dealer on 7th July according to LAN page (if you didnt already know)??

Hi guys, Congrats on the new car HUSTLER, looks awesome. I finally got someone from FORD that specialises in dealing with fleet orders from my company. They advised me they recieved my order on 4th June (lodged with my company 13th May) it is scheduled for August build, possible delivery late August. How long does it take, how can a contract that was made on the 4th June take two months to get onto the production line?? Not happy at all, should be much faster than that. I suppose it will make a great christman present though.

Hi guys, I was told today from a dealer principal that owns 4 dealerships that they definetely did have turbo problems. Two batches of XR6T models went through fine & the third batch went astray. Turbo was making the whining noise that other people have spoken about, so all three batches were re-called. The problem has obviously been solved & a large amount of T models (XR6T & G6ET) have been shipped onto trucks heading towards our driveways. YEEHAH!!
