  1. if you wanna get your planetary gears replaced with better Au V8 one while getting its rebuilt, how much extra would it make?
  2. when u get your diff changed to lds, get 4.11 gears at the same time. 4.11 will give u better take off?

  4. like my one is a ford ba xr6 nonturbo but has some mods on it like 4.11 diff gears with lsd 3000 dominator hi stall blue power air intake box set up 4490 extractors and metalcat and mendrel bent cat back crow cams stage 2 underdrives custom tune like it has some mods, and I dnt wanna get smt wrecked every six months either. so how do u think about all these things? by the way whats killing the box? rwkw or high rpm? like if u have a hi stall converter your transmission will work on higher rpm and would it that be the problem killing box, or with a nice tune and transmission cooler should be able to keep the transmission safe for my car...

  6. hi guys, I did some research on what can be done to 4 sp auto and I made a list...how do u think about these things guys? and which are should be worth to get it done? 1) heat treated shafts and gear sets 2) upgraded input shaft 3) kevlar band(if you get better and stronger drum, otherwise it will break standar drum) 4) valve body work(Chris from bluepower said it would blow the transmission out) 5) higher pressure selonoid (while getting it rebuilt, just replace them and This applies more clamping pressure on the band to get additional grip for the increased torque) 6) new stronger clutches (serrated bf spec clutch pack for the gears(internal clutches related to 3rd and 4th gear are plain surface finish, but they can be replaced with serated surface like 1st and 2nd gear) 7) some mods to the drum (larger oil bleed holes? to aid in dispelling oil quicker under the band to aid in quick changes. Drill out ports and countersunk 9) Drill out C3 Drum 10) Mod for delay in reverse 11) Fit C3 drum saver 12) Replace pistons if needed (C1---C2---C4) 13) internal seals and other internal similar things to be replaced 14) titanium planetary gears are good as I heard and also au planetary is better than ba 15) Au transmission pump(au pump is thicker than ba one, it protects from exploidig) 16) Insatll Hi Energy clutches kevlar bands and rose bestos steals 17) hi stall converter ( common hi stalls used on these cars are TCE and Dominator with a lock up clutch plate, there must be many brands) and also decent flush and cleaning all the dirt from your transmission of course and by the way how about preston? service and job quality and price? it is close to my house that's the why
  7. so anyone has any idea about rebuilding? is it just like fixing the problem and wrecked parts or replacing the main parts of the transmission with brandnew and better parts?

  10. so, does it mean nizpro rebuild the transmission with all new and better parts also they replace all the main parts in the box, so box become fine again and all the problems on the box are gone?????or they only fix and replace the parts gone?nt all? is that how it is? sorry guys if I ask so much details, just I wanna know how it is before paying too much money on it? and also how much would it be to put better histall converter on it while getting it rebuilt?
  11. so guys what price range shoul I look for and the nizpro gear boxes for 2300, is that for bringing the box to standard or fixing it and also replacing some parts with better the parts? what I wanna know is if they only fix the wrecked parts or there is a prepared list of works they do in a price of 2300? so it sounds like there is no way for me to get my box rebuild for 1500-1750 by some decent place?

  13. what works involve in rebuilding and which parts are changed? I dnt wanna get in the workshop with no knowledge, and at least I wanna know what I need to get done for sure and which works I have to get done.... I spoke to nizpro and they asked for 2300, doesnt it include removing and fitting?
  14. hi guys, today I left my car to get a custom tune done but it was found that my transmission needs to be rebuilt and has some problems. By the way my car is a 6 cyl ba. I was told that auto had some problems for sure and 100% I would have to get it done in 3 to 6 months of time, so if I can get a good deal and price, I want to get it done. im from melbourne and I would like to get some advices from your experiences. I have read afew threads here and as I understood there are afew places in Victoria I can trust which are bayswater, kewesh and nizpro, also I read that on couple of threads there are many places only knowing how to take money from people and never do good job. and also I would like to ask to people who has rebuilt their 4asp auto, where did you get it done and how much and what works involved in your rebuilds?
  15. hi guys, I have some transmission problem which is about gear changing from first gear to second gear and second to third,,, when the gear gets changed from first to second and second to third, car stops for a sec or less and then car pushes it self to change the gear,,,I dnt know if I could explain good.... like transmission thinks for a sec if it should change the gear or nt and then at the point of gear changing car push it self,,, do you have any idea about what is going on with the car? and is that a transmission slipping?
