  2. I would take it to get second opinion for sure I bought my bf mk2 f6 motor with no problems! if you get stuck I will help you get your hands on one! A good tuner is Dyno dave at Sas in silverwater rd silverwater Nsw, guy who built my motor was good and not bad priced he use to do race motors and seen him do Ferrari motors with turbos and etc, his name his Nas from Thornleigh heads off Duffy rd Both these guy would give you an honest opinion or even talk to atomic he knows these motors back to front and front to back he genuine dude
  3. Yea that's sorta why im worried its brand new motor I did the atomic oil pump upgrade to it and head work so I don't want to be in the wrong range of pressure
  4. I just cut mine and extented it and put heat shrink over the lot with same size cable never had issue
  5. I have xr6 turbo just installed oil pressure gauge what oil pressure should I be reading? I have been running 10w-40 nulon black 38% less friction, I started the car cold the other night it was about 60psi and started dropping after 5 minutes running it started dropping slowly done 56 then I turned it off I thought it was little high but not 100% sure what is everyone else getting

  8. I have gone through looking for why my fog lights turn on when I brake it only happens when I have the fog light switch turned on its as if I have bad earth but cant see how? I have thought about add another earth! Just wondering has anyone come across this before? It dimmly turns the dash on but almost unnoticeable aswell as makes the Parker's turn on, but If it's the not bad earth where could the cross connection be I checked the tow connections at the back seem to be fine just can't think we're it's gone wrong please help driving me nuts

The suspension work I have done couple time over last 3 to 4 as my ute was stolen and recover from the actions there was no physcial damage besides shock was wasn't healthy n sway bar links broken, no abs pump and damaged interior so instead just one shock n etc re did every thing and it was to low then to high, then stiff and now it's perfect I got it when I was getting my p plates took loan out bought it's and its been project since I think want copy fg gt seats now in leather do some the interior again I got gauges on the way boost ,oil pressure and oil temp and tripod gauge holder I get the Dyno sheets on next day or so I got to say I've thought I driven some fast cars before and when I got my uterus back from being on the hoist it showed me few jap cars and etc Ive driven just don't have a much torque as these things do no matter what gear and they can be daily driver if u dont lead foot it

  19. looked over the wiring at some point of its life the to pink wires and etc which control the abs and the speedo I think been cut and joined so if they were cut and rejoined wrong would that mean they would mean they wouldn't have worked at all or would it mean its just showing the fault now or what or maybe they are in the right places but the unit wasn't programmed correctly
  20. my old boy just got the conversion done to his fg turbo and its make more power on lpg and he reakons it worth it. I would probly agree but not if you want a track car add like 100kg to your car but if not track 100% worth it I got one my car on gas aswell as my old boy turbo and its cheaper then my misses 4 cylinder 323 agaisnt falcon xr6 turbo. and 6 falcon modified. roughly around the 4500 mark make sure you get the liquid injection kit then its worth it others lose power and go in as dry gas and etc so less performance
  21. tailshafts fail when you lower them is because a tailshaft is made for the ride height of a standard car or ute. once you change it the tailshaft is now sitting at different offset which means it puts more stress on the yokes if single peice if it two peice it puts stress on the centre bearing and rear yoke because you pushing tailshaft into the gearbox more which also changes the spinning angle they are designed to spin in certain angle if change it change it cause friction on those points which was it designed to sit on
  22. dont buy standard buy whiteline swaybar links they last through pot holes everything as far as I know unbreakable
  23. I wouldnt use standard again since I went to white line sway bar links un breakable as far as I can see soon as you hit pot hole with aftermarket sway bar you break them I came across these never had problem since touch wood

I would own a turbo falcon wagon if it came out in fpv or xr6 turbo I reakon alot of people would scrap the ss wagon everyone know 6 turbo wagon would eat alive a v8. even if they did the new 5.0l supercharged would absolutely be beauty. I really think ford are off the ball game. I would have bought a turbo wagon if they sold one. I built a turbo ute from na. I wish I didnt listen to people and talk me out of the idea. I photo shoped heaps of ideas and they look fat just besides the taxi looking rear end.
  25. just done a turbo conversion put new pcm got ford to reflash I got a feeling they didnt do it properly the speedo and abs use to work before the turbo conversion and now doesnt work didnt touch any of the abs stuff as far as I know of have anyone come across this before
