  1. I snap one too, clean in half at 100km/h! Scary sh...... ! But mine is manual
  2. Buy the cheapy standard tailshaft (one peices) . take the steel yokes off it and get the tail shaft guy to weld on the new yoke to replace the rubber joint on the gearbox, replace the centre bearing with a f100 ( they are larger than xr6 turbos and stronger). Then replace rear peice of the two peice with the standard rear yoke so you don't have cv boot at the rear to fail! This is what I have done help alot but I used thicker side wall shaft then standard but not much thicker. But I still used the standard cv in middle couldn't think of a good way around it with out having to have a tailshaft harmonic. Well I beleive it might have produced one if I did it different
  3. Thought so just want to double check. Thanks for your help
  4. If I get my car tuned on eflex which I tested to be e 73 the other day. If I go an use e85 at united will it just run it rich with the higher ethanol content?? For example tuning your car on 95 and then running it on 98!! I'm only new to this e85 stuff Just want to know if I have have to stress about getting a retune between the winter blend , summer blend and e85 at united???
  5. I destroyed a t5 aswell on a Na xr6 with mods. Buy a t56 and don't look back
  6. So the eat913-500a is the right one for the ute aswell??? I thought harrop used the eaton diffs
  7. Im In!!! I need to take the ute for a drive, it's been awhile
  8. People bagging on others about writing on a forum, so they can feel big some where!! And the iPhone change it from a fortune to affortion F... Knows why??
  9. 1) Buy flow rated injectors and then find out they aren't flow rated. 2) PCM crashes because having fraud not install the right program 3) driving my misses car and my truck while car is in peices 4) car been broken into and door locks, ignition barral and steering collumn stuffed Good news getting sorted by tuner 5) bad news will probly cost affortion
  10. Ford Damaged door on one of our cars too. they said it was there when we dropped it off, funny don't remember it there. Seeing its on the drivers door and they parked it. Good luck they told us to p..... Off same as when the diff went, they replied with the same answer. It was due to the LPG kit seeing its modification to the car. Depends on the dealership I believe
  11. I fell off a roof about year ago, I fell 1.5 story's landed half on ladder and half on the concrete. I slipped off the roof tried to stop my self, but I ended up taking the ladder with me and fell off and landed on it. ( started to rain and I was trying to close the roof tiles) I landed on the high point of the ladder on my lower back. Knocked my self out and woke up with my legs feeling sorta funny, In pain all over. Started freak, my mate ran out and checked on us helped me up. Walk away lucky with no broken bones, concusion and damaged spinal ligaments and etc I think I was lucky
  12. Bp fuel always. Couple of different Bp stores so unlikely
  13. I want to change it due to the LSD wearing out, seeing truetrac is a mechanical LSD instead of a clutch pack it will never wear out. The price differents isn't anything to do with it, what I looked up Was part number for part number just shows we pay $470 bucks to the government or someone for nothing. I don't belive the diff guys are ripping us off it's that they are getting ripped off and passing on the price. So if anyone could help me find the part number I will buy one from the states
  14. Sprayed soapy water all over it no signs of leaks
  15. 1-3-5 lean 2-4-6 rich
  16. I used the standard cv in the centre (after the centre bearing )
  17. If you redo the tailshaft buy stock rock aluminum tailshaft from ba ute or wagon. take the yokes off it they are like 1310 style yoke steel get them welded on front and back, f100 centre bearing, make a bracket to hold the bearing with 20mm -25!mm spacer. To lower the bearing to the right height
  18. I might go and do compression test or even better a leak down test to see if I got blow by from the cams
  19. How likely is that on barely 15000 km everything was new when bolted back together, wouldn't it come up with a cam timing fault. the funny thing is it keeps coming up with lean code and p1507 fault but there nothing wrong with the throttle body as far as I know, because I transferred a known good throttle body which was a spare never had faults before but still the p1507 fault comes up on my car
  20. It's feels as if the car has like some type of chock on it or something
  21. Nah it's not Expensive Daewoo sv6 with chevy badges missing But on serious note Still getting up on boost (18 psi) .I have a feeling it might be the injectors or something because cant be the o2 sensor. soon as it goes in to open loop our the o2 sensor is not used I forgot to mention the ignition barrel is bit sh*ty doesn't flick back since my car got broken into. Only reason mention that seeing the security is involved with the key so might possibly throw into limp mode I don't know about that stuff
  22. The ute was rebuilt 15,000kms ago new short block and the head has crow cam valve springs, 1 mm larger valves, mild port. Atomic oil pump 80lb seimon injectors (flow rated) New with motor No boost leaks At 19psi it made 310 kw at 10afr Afr are all over the shot over the rev range Some times struggles make boost Waste gate 14 psi actuator seems to hold 14 psi of pressure fine without bleeding off when connecting a air compressor with tire pressure gauge fitted up to it. Turbo was rebuilt 10,000kms ago with larger flapper and new wastegate Looks like 3 spark plugs are rich and 3 spark plugs are lean As far as I can see the fuel regulator is fine Cat seems too look fine Made 396 kw at 18.5 psi when it was running fine before till last week
  23. Quick spool valve Have a look at the you tube videos then should explain itself. 1) 2)
  24. Well that's it if oil thins out to much it mean get off gas, I put it on there as I couldn't think wat else I needed. I have decided fuel pressure gauge so I think all you need is boost, oil pressure and fuel pressure. I think they are the most important , it makes it easier to fault find and if one of those dont have normal read out something is wrong
  25. Well in therory half scroll is spinning instead of Both sides so the turbo would spin up faster, as it goes past the actuator psi point then both sides are spinning, so it will be great in low end and in high end rev range. U.S do it on the supras I believe it's called quick spool valve. Watch the video clip you will understand why after you watch this
