http://youtu.be/LTXvH3T8Bsg Detroit TrueTrac lockers are Torsen style limited slip differentials that use helical gears instead of clutch packs to offer automatic torque biased traction to both drive wheels at all times. The ingenious design limits the speed of each wheel to 1.5 times faster or slower than the opposite wheel to provide full-time traction while still allowing for wheel speed differentiation in turns. The heavy duty all-gear design not only makes for quite and smooth operation, it requires no maintenance and will never weaken or wear out like a typical limited slip differential. These unique features make the Detroit TrueTrac ideal for race cars, rally cars, trail rigs, full size trucks, and daily drivers. The Detroit Truetrac is a Torsen style differential that provides constant power to both drive wheels at all times while still allowing for wheel speed differentiation. The design works so well that the US military chose the Torsen differential as standard equipment on the Hummer H1. Eaton specifically designed and built the Detroit TrueTrac locker for use in 4x4 vehicles and to withstand the abuses of off-roading. Precision forged gears, high strength materials, and high-tech manufacturing procedures make the TrueTrac one of the most durable and reliable limited slip lockers on the market today. They are easy to install and maintenance free.

Ill give it a shot thanks mx Dave

Mmm hoping not Ill look on the net see if there is a brake booster test I can do, I have genuine one way valve and forgot to mention brand new braided lines on all four, I went little crazy with braided lines including the clutch line lol. But anyways hopefully it's not to major but well we will see. I believe might be brake booster aswell due to I found the one way valve missing a little chunk out of it. It was rubbish plastic centre, so I made sure when ford handed me new one was better so its metal one now
-
Yea I ment the 1 way valve sorry , it was broken found peice missing ( little hole size of 5mm drill bit) in it
-
Well I visit every month or couple weeks to newy does that count? My mate lives a lemon tree passage and works at Autobarn at I believe it's Warner's bay??
-
I'm keen, kroozin might jump in aswell. Just an idea butterfly farm go kart track and maybe head out to putty or head back to wisemans ferry , stop past the pub for a feed. Go across ferry and head back across freeway

I went for cruise while ago I found that my brakes wernt working properly. I found that the PVC valve had shattered. So allowing boost to get to the brake booster. So I replaced it but feels like sometimes that when I've just boosted then back off for the corner feels like something is holding the pedal up so I apply more pressure and it pushes down probably another half and inch, then it starts to set the abs off and try to stop the car. I have put 4 piston brembos on the front and ford territory rear brakes. I've tried so far -new PVC valve -About 4 years ago my abs pump crapped it self and made it have no abs at all As stupied as is sounds is there a difference between the na xr6 and the f6 master cylinder. Or is my master cylinder playing games or my abs pump again.

What's the part number for the g6e turbo
-
Got my truetrac in over all including install by a mate $750 not inc diff oil. And for the ba bf maybe fg aswell (ute owners) look at the fill point on the diff it's lower then shafts. So no diff oil gets to the bearings properly. So over fill them little bit
-
Spin tail shaft both wheels will spin at same time and same direction. As said above works by load on each wheel. If you lift a wheel off the ground work the same as single spinner I believe.

Since I have changed my xr6 t ba cluster to ba Fpv cluster, the speedo is out by 10kmh roughly and gets worse after 110kmh. Has anyone else experienced this when changing cluster??

Summits racing $600 shipped to your door. True trac by eaton. Pretty sure harrop sells eaton gear aswell. Just have to find out the part number on the net

Single Borsch 044 To Aeromotive A1000
P_BA_XR6 replied to P_BA_XR6's topic in Fuel System & Induction Workshop
Thanks guys for all the replies been busy so haven't had much chance to jump on. Think I might run twins. Seeing ive got spare 044 now from kroozin. -
I currently have a Plazaman surge tank with the single borsch 044. I know I need new fittings and bibs and bobs, but I mainly want to know is everyone still using there standard fuel rail and fuel regulator? If not using the a billet fuel rail and turbo smart 1200? I currently have 430kw at 1460nm on e flex with id1000s. I beleive my single 044 is little small for my set up. I reakon I haven't run into any issues due to the fact I have 4.11 which has less load so less fuel. I'm currently organising taller gear ratios so I might run into issue with more load so more fuel or am I wrong??
-
What' diff ratio is in a fg xr6 turbo ute manual
-
The ute has had a birthday wash as normal but polish and wax even in the engine bay (plenum and etc). Now have a dead Arm
-
Standard turbo with a bigger wastegate actuator will be fine and still pick up boost at 2500 to 2800rpm with all Plazaman gear Option 2 gt42r with twin scrolls and waste gate closing one scroll to 7psi and have your usual wastegate setup controlling the lot still. Custom manifold matching runners and 4in dump and etc Recommend larger valves max 3mm better than cams I believe. Cams can have to much of a lobe and allow boost to sneak out the exhaust port. Cams are cheaper option. If you can afford porting out your head would allow more flow. Use an fg or bf head the have better dual VCt than ba if you use that head of one of those series you have to change the PCM as far as I know and get ford to make the PCM talk to the bem.

Lol yea I would say mine and my brothers pretty equal and the rest a basically stock they have like f6 air intakes and reflashed to f6 tune. While my brother and my car have just usual bolt ons and upgrades. My car has 430 kw at 1470nm at the tyres and my brothers (kroozin) with 410kw at I think 1200nm at tyres. The only major difference between mine and my brothers, mine wheels spins 5th on semi slicks lol. So I think my brothers has the upper hand on traction while mine is a wheel spin machine. ?__ ___ ___ ____ ______ (?) this was Sapost to be drawing of alittle car wheel spinning

Is 5 xr6 turbos to many for one family or is it benefit? Xr6 turbo cruise just with family cars, if no one rocks up to cruise lol Me ba mk2 xr6 turbo ute Misses bf mk2 xr6 turbo sedan Brother bf mk1 xr6 turbo sedan Mum. Fg g6e turbo Dad. Fg xr6 turbo ute Or should we be sponsored by ford

I hit 308km/h then hit rev cut at 6500rpm in my ute at 1000m sprint about 700m mark, I was taking it easy in 1st and 2nd then got on the gas. I need a taller gear ratio. 4.11 diff ratios are just to short for a turbo going back to a 3.4. 6 speed manual with .62 6th gear

-
4.11 t56 in 6th 0.62 at 6500rpm is about 310km/h, 6000 I think it's about 306km/h. If you go 3.73 it will do about 340km/h at 6500 rev cutt if our cars can get there
