  2. I left the ball in his court to work out what he wanted to do but the only instruction was to make it stupid! So what I was thinking was going to have around 18 to 19 psi 440rwkw with a strong mid range I Might try push him to push 20 in mid and then drop it to 16 after 5000 so It's like soft cut at the end I just don't want to offend him, I like the guy his nice guy etc. Making good power I think for 16 psi

  5. Fair enough I believe making 400 is good at 16 psi. Surely if he ran around 17 or 18 should get 420-440 some where in there
  6. To be honest I thought well I'll make about 400ish on 98 and about 450 to 470 rw max eflex
  7. I don't want to say anything bad about the tuner as I feel he has the knowledge but is holding back for some reason. I just want other peoples input before I say anything to him. To see if I have leg to stand on or if I'm asking to much out of it
  8. Not that I'm worried about Dyno figures. I've just spent sh*t load money to make f... All difference. I just thought I would gain bit more then 10 to 15 rwkw after putting top mount setup (tune length manifold) bigger front cover .7 External waste gate Changing the piping a bit New dump pipe with a better cat Making catch can setup out of an fittings And I know ceramic coating will do f all but everything of turbo and manifold is coated After spending abit of Dow to go all but the same result feels like waste money and time. I was thinking I would at least get 420rwkw to 450rwkw or in other terms gain of 30 to 50kW not 10 to 15. Sorry to come across abit straight forward but it is abit of p.... Off to get so little gain
  9. I currently made (eflex) 400 rwkw on Dyno the other day at 16 psi on that hot day. Am I asking to much for 420 mark on this set up on hot day. (I know it's not much more just a question really to see what I should see.) well I want 420 on hot day due to the work of the upgrades not being worth. While otherwise Twin 044s 2000 reg Id1000 Plazaman manifold Plazaman intercooler 1000hp + kit (minor changes) Gt3540 with .7 front cover 4in intake Snort performance top mount setup tuned length, 50mm, steam pipe, ceramic coated 3.5-4 dump ceramic coated External wasgate 50mm plum back in after 1 meter on 15 degree angle 4in to Twin 2.5 exhaust Valve springs 1mm larger ferra valves F6 bottom end Atomic Oil pump Na cams Arp head bolts Catch can 2 x 10an May have missed some stuff

    It's a defect if you have your blow valve blowing to atmosphere. They can't impound it for stupid little reason like that but they could put your car under an emissions test to give you a hard time if your a smart ass. If you don't even have a blow valve they can't do much I don't think, but possibly get you for an aftermarket pipe blocker or something along the lines.
  11. Is there a difference in Ecu wirring if so would it be engine bay wirring or in dash of my car . ATM Im pulling out a sedan wiring loom and going to replace sections of the ute wirring loom. Some of the dash wirring was damaged when I got the car from previously being stolen and recover. So ATM I'm changing what I have to in dash across from ba 03 to ba 04 but the reason I ask Is if I only had to change something small such as engine wirring loom I would swap to bf PCM as we all know its a better PCM then the ba.

  13. That's strange I've heard the opposite, don't take offence just opinion I was given and was wondering if anyone has heard it and tried it before. It was said to me to put it minimum of 12in if further is possible it would be better, due to fact heat causes more flow and if its further down it would cause draw just before the cat! Also putting it lower would be less turbulence on turbo which would give the turbo chance free flow. Angle the plumb back in at maxium Of 45 degrees Best would be 7 to 12 degrees. 90degrees would cause alot Of turbelnace and slow the flow down! I'm not saying this is correct but it was opinion given to me and thought I would throw it out there.
  14. Yea might cause to much turbulence inside the pipe with to much angle and cause it to not flow as well? I was thinking sort of the same thing! I'm getting Windsor exhaust to make it up for me! I was thinking along the lines of 4 in dump pipe and the waste gate be 2in which will return just before the cat on a nice flowing join like 7 -12* degrees if possible?

  16. Fair enough see if the how much of gain from the manifold which is good question! Then etc. Do think it would be stupid to run a 4in dump pipe with external wastegate join back into the dump pipe just before the cat
  17. It should spool alot faster with tuned length manifold then factory
  18. Why do you mean by the manifold will over shadow any gains of 0.7
  19. Fair enough appreciate the reply, the reason why I ask haven't seen much with 0.7 stuff with aftermarket manifold with Dyno read outs so just wondering if there will be much gains which is showing there is bit of gain.
  20. Just wondering if anyone has tried the 0.7 with the factory 1.06 rear housing with standard core?. (Bearings have been replaced). I have closed off the factory wastegate and put external wastegate. Due to the fact I had boost issues and got sick of the boost spikes. 50mm synapse wastegate and I've also bought a new snort performance tunned length manifold! Just wondering If anyone else has this type of set up and know roughly when It will spools up and etc? I have got everything currently being ceramic coated so I can't wait for Dyno day again lol
  21. Fair call I have currently have 430rwkw on cms Dyno on factory turbo set up with the Plazaman 1000hp intercooler kit and intake. Interested to know what Dyno graph looked like
  22. Has anyone put the gtx wheel on the factory turbo and not change housing and was there any good gains or should I change to 0.7 housing and gtx wheel? Reason being I wish to keep the original housing is due to quicker spool up and stay around the same power?
