  3. ZOM81E was the best one I saw a few years ago on a ute from Junee.... just after that styleof plate was released
  4. Here's why.
  5. The person in the next post should have seen this sign first.
  6. Just your local friendly plumber
  7. Do you guys trust SWMBO to park your car?
  8. One of the coppers in Wagga here got some ricer a beauty. The copper pulled up next to me in my car, (My old EA) and reved a fair bit. In my car second gear at 3 grand was sixty, so from the Stanly street lights it was on, I got to sixty and dropped it into forth. Faye avenue lights, same again. I lost both times as even a hotted up EA fairmont ghia wouldnt stand upto an AU XR8 Watching from behind us was a little ricer in a hinda civic. I like those cars but this thing looked terrible. Anyways on the way down to the next set of lights about 2 k away he pushed past me and decided to give the xr8 a go at edward street..... Big mistake on his part  As soon as he past sixty the front and back of the XR lit up blue and red. I cruised past laughing my head off. I'm wasnt silly enough not to notice the dash orniment with the lighst on the unmarked car, plus I like my licence too much Racing for me is limited to a mate of mines farm 750 meters of black driveway
  9. Youve been a very naughty boy  Cheers to the guy for letting you know before hand
  10. Would you like some soy sauce with your truck sir? http://homepage2.nifty.com/ztath/starthp/s.../subpage11.html I showed this to some of he guys at work (Hartwigs Trucks) and they near died of laughter then the (new) UD and Hino sales man asked, how the f**k am I going to sell those things?
  11. Yeah yeah.... hadnt looked that far down
  12. I would definately be in this. I have been contemplating doing the full course with Ian Luff at Oran park for some time. Just saving for my dad and brother to come along as well. (promised chrissy present). To do the 3 courses from memory was about 800. But that was over 3 days and gave you the prerequisits for a CAMS license. COrrect me if I'm wrong there. But anyways, most important thing is the dank mobeele would be there with bells on
  13. If I remember correctly, DynoSteve has something like this in his beasty and is also selling them. www.redcliffedyno.com I think the url is

    Boxer Shorts

I swear if I ever get a chick home she's going to think I've gone mad. The family brought me 4 sets of XR6 Turbo boxers, a set of GT boxers, A Ford doona and pillow set, and a Dressing Gown with the ford logo sewn on to it

    Wax Warning

I was expecting this to be a thread about Cro waxing his legs or something and him regretting it.
  16. I voted YES I think it would be a great idea for the club. I for one would be quite happy to help out in any way I can. The task though daunting will definately be worth it provided every one provides their input. that's the main reason for this thread. It's interesting to see each others views on the matter. I'd like to see a proper ballot on the matter once the necessary things have been drawn up/done. eg Mission Statement, investigating Cams affiliation (Is very good. I have been a CAMS member for some 6 or 7 years now), Insurance issues and every one stating how much work they could cope with or prepared to do etc. One thing that I'd love to see is the fordxr6turbo.com 'club' if/when it becomes one, to do a lap around Mt Panorama during the 1000. Expensive Daewoo has done it the last few years running, and if we can convince ford's marketing manager, someone I have the privilage of knowing, to do something like this, more power to us. I think any membership fees would be pultry to what Chris has already outlaid in time and actual funds on the site. I think he has done one teriffic job of this site and would sincerely like to see it move to the next level.
  17. Are you my evil twin? exactly the same here
  18. Dankman, How do you find the service at Hillis? My uncle works there selling Ford Credit, so the opportunity may arise for me to buy my XR there. Happy with the service dept? I didnt buy my car from there, but so far so good
  19. hahahahhaaaaa  I do know of about 4 or 5 rebuilds those guys have had. Wonder if they would eat humble pie? Thanks for the support guys. This site has been an absolute godsend looking for information. The service guy looked puzzled when it seemed I knew more than he did about those problems. Top work
  20. that's pretty much what I had. It's back in the shop this morning again, fortunately not for anything like that. *whew* Disks being replaced/machined and the 'fix' and a noise suppressor being fitted to the alternator. I do hope for a set of replacement disks more than a machining. 10110 on the clock when I dropped her off.

    Hail Storm

Thanks, the dank mobeele is now under cover. Just passing over wagga now..... holy sh!t!
  22. Only for the wrong reasons :( It took me nearly 10 minutes to start the dank mobeele last night, and even when it did start ran like a chauff cutter. I switched it off and back on again and this time it started like it normally does but still very rough. Rang ford roadside assistance (who were great by the way) and they told me not to do anything, they would send out a tow truck. Of course the Expensive Daewoo supporters at work loved this. I'm still getting ribbed right now as I write this. Well after all the humiliation last night I got my sister to drive me to work and low and behold I drive past the dank beastie. Rang Hillis ford who then said that they had no trouble starting the car this morning.... Must have been sh*t in the VCT and with all my cranky cranking last night may have worked it all back into the oil filter. No codes at all. Oh well sh!t happens, and I'm happy to have my beloved back now.
  23. Interesting. One shell here in Wagga is completely boarded up now. The other has moved the petrol price boards from the top of the 40 odd foot sign down to the bottom. hmmmmm
  24. Just interested to know. Apparently I will be on Murrays corner this year waving the flags and the paddles at the cars
