  1. My usual questions are, 'WTF does 'ZADANK' mean?' especially when pulled over for an RBT and rego check. Nearly every one who has come for a ride in the dank beastie has loved it and had nothing but great if not teriffic comments, even from hardcore Expensive Daewoo drivers. And it turns a lot of heads as well just cruising down the street. I love my dank beastie, and so does every one else it seems
  2. I generally avoid that sort of thing like the plague. I was challenged by an unmarked cop car when I had my old beastie. Thank heavens I knew who it was. Gunned it down lake albert road from Stanley street, bang on 3 grand in second is 60km/h in that car so straight to 4th and cruise till fay ave. Gunned it again to 60 at that set of lights. An excel behind us saw what wa going on and jumped in my spot by the sturt highway. They both gunned it but he kept going. I passed them laughing my ass off with all those blue and red lights flashing behind him  Not worth the waste of fuel in my opinion to drag these guys off. I know I've got the goods and that's good enough for me. Safety is my concern as well. I leave that for the track without the mates in the car. I couldnt live with myself if I killed someone else in the car.
  3. I must say that that was an affirmitive for last night
  4. Looking forward to this cruise. So far away. How much $$$ do you think we should budget for the weekend? 3 or 400 should be able to suffice before fuel? Work pays for my fuel so I'm not entirely fussed over that part, just the copious amounts of alcohol and hotel expensis Although for me and mish it will be a little more expensive staying in sydney for the Friday night. just a general idea would be great. ChrisP
  5. Count me in + 1 Please. I think I might try and find somewhere to stay in Sydney town friday night as driving all the way up there from Wagga will kill me

    @Cro

I found this out the other day as well. What course of action do you think I should take with regards to the protector wearing the paint thin?
  7. As long as funds are ok for this weekend I'll pitch in 20 or 30 for ya's. I know it's not a lot but every bit helps right? Currently WECEL internet services (My internet hosting company, soon to be dank.net.au Digital Arial Network Komunications) is going on a large scale diversification pending funding from the government. I dont mean a few grands worth but I'm looking to secure about half a million to offer Wireless Internet and Hosting services to wagga and surrounding districts. If all goes well and I get this thing off the ground in about 3 months I'd be happy to host this site at a greatly reduced price, if not for free. Chris if your there or abouts would this sort of thing be of any help? And before any discounting of what I do goes on, let me say I'm deadly serious. ChrisP

    Foxtel Digital

Problem is that I have the connectors you describe. Just no where on the box to plug them in, only stereo RCA and RCA composite. I think it's pretty pathetic that a 'NEW' service advertised as "DIGITAL' and you only get the box every other jo blow currently has. The only difference is that the guy got up on the roof and pointed the dish at another satellite. That was my upgrade to digital.

    Foxtel Digital

I have a huge gripe but thought I'd ask the people who already have the digital service installed. I ordered and got installed yesterday, AUSTAR digital. Now call me an idiot, but I thought these frigging boxes were supposed to have optic or at least coax digital out plusa DVI connector for digital TV? Not happy. My new digital TV shows up in a few weeks and as far as austar can tell me, 'oh that's what foxtel users get, we dont have access to that yet' Why the :o would you call it a 'digital' service if it clearly isnt? Only stereo and analogue outputs on the back of the box
  10. Mine's either 'the dank mobeele 2', or 'the dank beast'. Depends on my mood at the time quite often as 'my baby' as well My old suziki was simply 'suzi'
  11. Just thought I'd ask about something that scared the crap out of me on the weekend. I pulled up at one of my mates places at 5 am on sunday morning to be greeted by 2 police officers. Normally not a problem. Apparently one of the neighbours called in that they were disturbed by a lot of cars pulling up and taking off making noise when I took off to take some of my friends home being the usual designated driver. Funnily enough I only left once and returned in 10 minutes. The police officers were pretty good explaining why they were called out and asked what we planned to do to rectify the situation. I explained what our side was and they seemed pretty happy that we were being quiet. One thing that they did point out though, was that when I got out of the car, I was only wearing socks. Why I dont know but I do remember something bad about not having shoes on whilst driving. Is this an offence for one, and two what is normally the penality? Thanks, ChrisP

    It Happens

I'm quite sure I could as well  Like the lady nearly 13 years ago who wanted to take the computer and set it up her self. She came back with a crushed mouse and complained that the power button didnt work. She used it like a Janome pedal....... I have no idea what she expected..... That lusers for you
  14. One thing on the Snowies cruise I thought was great was that people did in fact stop by to offer help. To the two cars that turned around to check on my situation after my abrupt stop after the shopping centre stop, I thankyou. I'm miffed that my brother broke down and I had to leave the pack before getting to the end point, that's life I guess. But at least every one checked on me to make sure myself and dad were ok. I know for a fact I made sure a few people pulled over were ok as well, I guess it's in my nature. With the 'lead' pack you're all speaking about, it looked to me that we wernt spread out more than... say 700 odd meters. I thought the closeness was great and actually supprised me somewhat. Usually in groups I've been in, every one seemed to be in their own club. The family atmosphere was definately there on the weekend as well. Dad was supprised that a majority of us were not angsty late teen hooligans ready to race till some one got hurt. He was very impressed. He's hoping on winning a GT in some raffle he entered (heres hoping he does so I dont have to tear my keys from his hand again ) and can't wait to come along to the next cruise. With the positive report he gave mum, she's definately looking forward to participating as well. Cro you're so right about the CB's, that definately added to the experience of the day. For me $500 odd well worth spent. I think I'll even leave the radio on permanately instead of just for occasions like this. I loved the weekend and cant wait to be part of another one again in the near future. ChrisP
  15. Cro, I've been waiting to do something like this for a long time, count me in.... funds pending of course
  16. I think they looked great, if I had the cash now I'd put in an order. I might see if I can convince the dankdaddy to buy me one for my birthday in a couple of weeks
  17. A very disturbing animation indeed. http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/doodoocaca.php What the hell is Velvet Glove doing in there? May not be safe for work at the end as large letters say "Go F**K yor self!" the rest is just a crackup. ChrisP
  18. I rekon meeting at Yatla pies would be a good start. When I was up there last month they were scrumptious. If I could convince work to give me a few days off I'd be up for another trip that way. I liked the pacific highway. Nice long drive that was
  19. Peter,as you know I will be there with the Dank Beast. I'd also like to ask if I can bring dankdaddy, and 2 others as well. So my crew will be 4 all up.... Thanks ChrisP
  20. I was just looking at Cro's site with the XR6T events page. Something I noticed in the reduced photo of Krash's with the wide angle was that on my screen it looked like one of the Blue Prints were leaking. Have a look. I know it's the carpark but I had to do a double take to make sure
  21. Who was that anyway? Why on earth weren't they playing Slow Jam? So much for the ford add
