Sorry guys, I have to pass on this one. :( Currently I dont know which end to put over the loo. My nephew caught something at day care and ended up with the upchucks, unfortunately even my trip to melbourne couldnt get me out of the house long enough to miss what ever it was that he had.

I only intend on heading up for the sat at this stage, getting ready for stocktake and all and need to make sure work's servers will stand the load. Edit: DOH! forgot to say, about 3 and a half hours driving at the speed limit from here to Bathurst. that's usually with a quick stop at Cowra Maccas.

Just wanting to know what everyone calls their car. My beloved beastie, 'the dank mobeele', I was told, doesn't not a suitable name. It should be something that the mishtress can actually say good morning/night too. Do you call your car a him or a her? I'm still trying to think of a tough female name with out is sounding like a dyke :lol: Suggestions? My old suziki used to be called suzi. Would Fordette or turbette suffice?

The mishtress is heading to Hobart today for a BMW dealers course and has been told that she will be able to test drive some of the newer cars around hobart on some decent roads. I'll try and see if she can bring back a map of where she went and let you all know what she thought. Hopefully some really good touring roads If she can who would like me to send them the map? Organisers etc?

I was talking to my ford rep at my last service 2 days ago and he was of the opinion that it will be a 6 speed manual only. No auto. Can anyone verify this?

Oh my god. This cant be true :( I'm almost in tears about this but I wont be able to make this trip at all guys. I'm absolutely spewing about this but commitments at home have forced me to cancel this trip for myself. If anyone wants a King Sized room please email me as soon as possile and I will ask the motel to transfer the room to your name. I expect to see lots of pics and movies of this weekend so I can know what a great weekend I missed. *sniff*

Count me in, although I'll prolly just drive up from wagga to Bathurst direct and meet you all at the track, MissXR what time do you think you'd all be there? I have some family who live there but I'd definately be in for some drinks of the alcoholic kind.

Would be great to see us all there on the grid. I'd be heading up from Wagga so I'd miss all the good twisty bits of road you guys would use on the way up, but is always a nice drive up that way anyways, even if it's for me, normally work trips to Bathurst and Orange. Cant wait to see what you guys organise, count me in if it does manage to go ahead.

One of my great woman friends is a BMW sales person. Let me tell you these cars just oooze class. Shame I couldnt justify the cost of 3 T's as against one of the M3 or M5 series Bee Emm's though, or I'd have one in the garage as well as the T. Her comment on my beastie was just like the M3 except the turbo whistle and 'Wow it's BIG in here' So the M series prolly arent the best for a family I guess

Mondie, I know what you mean, My windows on my 88 fairmont ghia were like that as well. I thought the motors were on the way out on the old beast. the window dosent seem to ghet stuck, sounds more like a problem with the auto wind down mechanisim in the switch. it winds up perfectly fine. the rest of the windows in the car work as per normal as well. got me buggered, may be a bad solder joint?

An interesting one for all those technofiles out there. Only during the last 2 weeks during the cold, I've had a lot of problems opening the Drivers window. Even if I hold down the button, the window only moves about half an inch then the switch clicks and it stops. When the weather is warm it works as per normal. Is just frustrating then the local boys in blue pull me up for a breath test and I cant get the window down. The car is due for it's 30k service this week so I'll get it looked at. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.

Hmmm on second thought this was a riced cars thread. Oh well. Worst riced up POS I've seen had been dumped and had plates to the tune of L33745... or leet as for those non technophiles.
