I'm interested to know, if we can display something like this in the open for one, and two what people are being quoted on the typhoon. The options I've asked for are The car obviously Metallic paint (which is a NCO anyway) Leather Sunroof Sports steering wheel and the FPV mats On the road my prices have varied from 67300 to nearly 74000. does that sound right? Most of them really dont seem to know where the luxury tax kicks in either, some havent charged it, they say it's already in the price of the car, others have charged me the luxury tax on top of stamp duty and vica versa. If it's allowed to be answered (mods ????) in a public forum I'd be happy to say where I've got these prices from so far, if anyone can add to the list it would be greatly appreciated.

Dankman, you say it happens on crisp nights, I find when it's cold mine overboosts when accelerating hard which means that the car then coughs a little so I back off. I can tell this via the boost guage, but also factoring in that I have a 2nd CAI. Are you finding when this happens the car still feels quite quick, even to the extent more powerful than normal? As a turbo car operates on air pressure, the density of air also is a big factor, this means you will find you have more responsiveness and power in cold whether and it may feel sluggish in hot whether. Just a suggestion, it may not be the problem, but hopefully it may be an area you have not considered to be the problem. Yeah I figured it could be something like that. It's getting annoying though because it's been cold at night here on my way home a lot more often than not for the past few weeks. But other than that my car seems to be getting even better with age. I love my beastie I'd like to go back to C&V at some stage and see if I can beat my prevoius best (and APS record) of 215.1rwkw for a complete stocker. I recon the dank beastie will do it, with ease I might add. I'll ask Biti when I go back there in a week or so for the 45k service. See if there are any overboost issues, anything else other members could think of?

I've noticed something very weird with my beloved beastie of late. At first I put it down to Traction Control cutting in. But of late I cant see the pretty yellow light flashing in the corner of the dash telling me to back off a bit. It's only happened about half way through 3rd gear and on very crisp nights. Has anyone had this happen? It feels and sounds like traction control cutting in, but as I said, no warning light. I can also hear the turbo cutting in and out as the motor stutters. But just back off and WOT again and away she goes.

Guys, being in Wagga I'm thinking of making the sultry trip to Albury and meeting you fellas there, instead of shuffling over to Tarcutta. I know for a fact they had one a just on a month ago. An M3 in fact. That thing was an absolute beast. Maybe when I win lotto, one of those and my beloved turbo can live in the same garage :lol:

The B30 software upgrade fixed this problem. I'm not too sure with the latest one I have as I havent used the air con since then. Unfortunately with a lot of things going on at work I havent had time to head back and get this checked, will keep you all posted though.

Spoke to my dealer today and they said that they want a look at the car. They think they may have put in an update later than the B30??? upgrade put in in March and it may not have uploaded to the car correctly or that the software was :sh*t: to begin with. They say that there have been a myrad of updates since and want to load on the latest and see what happens. They are also looking into replacing my brake pads along with the disks as I've got brake shudder again and the disks have been machined 3 times already. Also looking into why the brake pedal is rather stiff. This problem only happened about 2 weeks ago. Does anyone think I should ask how much to upgrade to the premium brake system and insist on a big discount while I'm at it?

My turbo is the best car I have ever driven. It's always been reliable and still is. Whats got me stuffed though is that since it's last service (30k service) about a month ago, nearly another 4500k's on the clock as well, it's been doing something that I thought was impossible for a manual car to do. Since the service the idle seems to hunt. Moves over 200 revs in only a second then back up again. Listening to the exhaust it comfirms the hunting idle. Whilst driving it does exactly the same thing. Not too sure about the exhause because it's hard to hear cruising, but with either my foot rock solid in the one place, or with cruise on, the tacho hunts up and down all the time. My speed doesn't change though. I've also noticed that the idle is a little higher pulling out of work the last 2 weeks as well. Basically the car trys to pull away when sitting in 1st gear while I'm putting on my seat belt. I have had the vacume hose blow off once about 3 weeks after I bought my beloved beastie, could this be related? Does anyone have any idea at all what this could be? It's really got me stuffed. Worse still is I cant get to Biti motors for at least another week due to work commitments.
