Damn it, My phone wont bluetooth this video I took in canberra on Tuesday Last week whilst stanging out front of the ICBM bar in civic. Short description, 1) idiot ricer in a very modified 200sx starting from the second last set of lights on Northbourne Ave heading toward Parliment House 2) Light goes green 3) Idiot completes 2 gear changes @ WOT (sounded like sh*t and I'm more than certain that I could have beaten him at half throttle in the dank beastie) 4) finally decideds to break for redlight/speed camera at next lights less than 250 meters away. 5) Break lights come on about a millisecond or so earlier than the FLASH goes off. (Appears the idiot didnt see the Camera) 6) Me and My mates Piss our selves laughing and jeering as he comes to an almost stop on the otherside of the lights trying to figure out what the hell just happened. Is canberra full of ijots like this guy? ps. my apologies for not being able to show the camera video, poxy as it was is priceless!

Thanks guys, Looks like I'll leave the rego and license at the folks address till I know more firmly what I'll be doing at the end of the contract. Mt Ainslie I've found an excelent drive as long as you can dodge the damn ricers that dont seem to be able to stick to their side of the road comming the other way, or getting a run where a ricer hasnt cooked it and holding up the whold road trying to do a manual (read pushing) 3 point turn by them selves while the mates get out of the car and laugh their arses off with out helping. Well I've finally handed in the resignation at work and am hopefully moving on to bigger and better things in the Capital of OZ. What I'm wondering though, the contract I'm on is only garanteed for six months. Not too much of a problem until I actually move residence to Duffy. I've looked at some 'Moving to Canberra' brochures and it says that I have to change my license and car rego to the ACT. Went to the Urban services page and it says I can exchange my NSW license for an ACT one, but whats got me worried is the rego on the car. It doesnt mention there anywhere about private plates. Can anyone tell me what to expect, charges due, can I get a refund from NSW for remaining 6 months of rego etc? I'm hoping the $400 premium I'm paying for my beloved plates goes down a bit as well.

The only time My Precioussss has had any fuel less than 98 RON was in Tassie where we could only get 95 RON. (hate Vortex!!! ) If possible, I use Optimax, but on occasion, I've used the other major vendor's premium offerings. Hmmmm dosent seem to happen in IE, but never used to happen in mozilla till this week. Chris, Could be an </td> or </tr> in the wrong spot? I know IE isnt really that picky but mozilla may be a little more strict? EDIT: nope.... on closer inspection, a </div> tag in the wrong place at the bottom of the page. Looks like a few too many. I've killed one of them and looked at the page and all seems well again on a local copy of the html. Let me know if this helps. ChrisP

Is there any way to prevent this in mozilla? The "Custom theme by: Onelotus Creative" footer keeps comming up on the top of the screen. Attached is a screen shot. Happens on all pages.

Is it ok for a grown man to cry in public. I want back in Tassie NOW! Myself and the Canadian had a rapid tissue depleating time. Most of the runs we had I need a smoke also. Mother (JB) could you have planned a more perfect route and holiday? The company we kept, whilst questionable at some points :lol: was excelent. You were all great, supportive and most importantly, didnt let anything get in the way of a good laugh or time. Some of the time we were cruising, I'd have to back off from laughing so hard from the repartee over the CB. As a group at dinner, lunch and breaky your were all worse, I'm pretty sure the other Chris had milk streaming out his nose at one point It was such a shame we had to come home early. The trip home up the humorless was boring as batsh*t and certainly non enjoyable without you guys to keep things interesting. I certainly wont hesitate to tell work to 'stick it' next time, nor would I hesitate heading off to a far away land with you lot again either. Whens the next one? Are we there yet? How 'bout now? Is now good?

I've just been talking to the NRMA. With a 65% no claim bonus my premium was 1732.64 pa. When I turn 25 early next year this is reduced even more. They said I should cancel the account and then start again. If I had household and green slip I get a further 10% discount. Mind you though, this is living in Wagga Wagga.
