  1. Data doesn’t lie ..... Unfortunately your tune needs more work to be consistent. Sometimes these things can slip and go through to the keeper. Rob is a Genuine good bloke with an amazing tuning reputation. Definitely don’t hold it against him especially if he was crazy busy, not an excuse I know but we’ve all been there or similar situations in life with one thing or another. “IF” he changed all his target boost increments to the same for all IAT’s he would nearly be there Juss sayn
  2. As I mentioned it’s “Common” for big workshops to take this approach as you can knock out a tune in like 4 pulls and send the vehicle out the door “Global” changes are fast, easy, pretty reliable for what the desired result will be. This isn’t how I do it and I want to maintain that target boost all the time every time unless we start to get super cold or IAT’s/MCT beyond what the hardware package can deal with. Yes this takes more time to complete On an ambient temperature day of say 27* MCT on a Dyno will be around 38-45* and thus usually the area that gets tuned - “IF” you were to look at your tune you would see 16 psi in this area of the target boost map for closed loop boost control, heavy drop offs under this area which you’re experiencing Not exactly great as cooler intake temps “Should” allow for a better power production atmosphere and should be utilised in the tune as such
  3. Haha wait until Monday mate
  4. Closed loop on the FG is based off IAT’s, greater the IAT greater the base D/C and target boost it’s common for tuners to use the hard work ford put in basing this variable on a variety of factors and just adding a few psi to the target boost table to generate a result. It’s an ok way of doing it but more effort is required from your tuner for consistency once modified
  5. Not a fan of old bouncy ball method of “Rover” mission ? LoL
  6. The 641kw graph looks strong mate ! Full send there mate and it’s looking like you could get her into the 700awkw bracket very soon !! Solid effort mate, wasn’t sure how you were going to go with 0.4mm gaps but if it works it works right
  7. Nice one mate, who woulda thunk it re: rail How you going with that boost control, that 50mm getting away from you ? be mindful the B series spark system is pretty much maxed out around 25-27psi even with 0.4mm plugs so it can only deliver probably what your dishing out without a voltage booster Great results anyways mate, loving your page set up and style, it’s the right way
  8. So much better mate ! Omar knows his Chit and does a good job. That’s a very good result for a pinch over 15psi as total used boost to generate the number
  9. Did you have a bit of a read up on the Bosch 2200’s for E85 ? Still a bit “iffy” me thinks so be careful with them mate !
  10. What injectors and from where Nath ?
  11. Twinsies bro
  12. That’s how I set up my twin feed rails Interesting stuff if you can make it work Nathan
  13. Big relays are fine as long as the fuse covers the wiring capacity on the circuit... you probably know that already
  14. Can you see why certain workshops struggle to maximise a good fuel system and why some of us can push hardware further than others .... The age old debate of why some argue a set of 1000’s and Plazmaman Pierberg and 460 top out at 470rwkw while others can crack 500rwkw with still fuel in the return Loving that you’re finding this out first hand... Rail and reg and return play a bit part. Cable size, relay capacity just as important.
  15. Are you doing any of this testing while the pumps are pumping fuel ? Load dramatically changes everything if you’re looking for any reason something might change
  16. Yikes mate dropped porcelain is way past the happy place, seen a few engines grenade from that exact thing. A very expensive built engine just went sideways from this very situation but as suspected sub par tuning was to blame and backed up by a third party. Sounds like you’re pushing that fuel system in one way or another as x2 525’s must be up around 50A full tilt. Get a voltage booster and drop the load some as melting bulkhead fittings could of ended pretty badly !!
  17. I’ve ran a BF2 till the engine stopped and never seen that light but was still recording 13kms to empty when it stopped Previously I’ve seen fuel levels as low as 0kms to empty and still no secondary light
  18. All depends on what sticker lol
  19. KPM have 1700’s on shelf
  20. Totally forgot you have the new design 6Boost manifold, the old design was the main reason 50mm gates wouldn’t work correctly, Glad it’s come together with the 50 ! Not bad numbers and the graph is begging for more limiter now 🙈 Can’t wait to see it turned up to 30 !
  21. 1700’s are good for 650rwkw and not terribly expensive whereas we just got a set of 2400’s that came in around $300 ish each 😕 Big power is expensive !
  22. That’s a fair old clip mate
  23. It’s been a while since I’ve been house bashing in ceilings but that’s the exact reason my knees and ankles are toast because the back hurts quickly so you end up squatting. I’m more project management these days but yeh it sucks mate, don’t miss it at all
