  1. WTF bro, it doesn’t need it at all, the GTX series can take full oil pressure as it has an “in built” restrictor 😐
  2. But you’re all missing the fact Garrett GT-GTX-GTW series turbochargers have a built in restrictor and it’s much bigger than 1mm ….. Ohhh Nooo Spaghetti ooooo’s
  3. But cummon Gaz how much power will a 40mm port & flap add over a 38mm port & flapper mod on baby FG turbo with 98
  4. Use the above linky Brad, good price & genuine
  5. Sigh Diff Bush done it ….
  6. Just get rob to throw some old ones in for the time being as I’m sure a workshop that size would have some kicking around
  7. Fleebay but Rocket do good deals erry now and den
  8. 275’s all day long with zero issues Had them personally hook 1.55 in the 60ft so yeh like sh*t to a blanket fits any AU-FGX 17* x 8* wide rim Run them on all my turbo falcons at the drags with great results each time, just get em hot !
  9. Well same deal applies, I’m happy to have you in and get it to a point where it’s modified to a better standard as it definitely had some questionable items on board despite whats being seen on the fuel pump picture. The old girl has potential and it would be great to see her with some good parts and hopefully get into the 300rwkw club Anyways if you want me to look and deal with what’s currently wrong with it feel free to P.M me and I can sort her out / fault find and diagnose a rectification path.
  10. Hey mate worked out what vehicle this is, reason I didn’t click straight away was because I didn’t actually do anything too it except re tune it back to a safer point as the previous owner didn’t want to spend the money fixing it correctly unfortunately… have a look on page 199 ( here ) then page 200 for how I rectified the tune only on it
  11. Hi OP I’m JD TUNING ADELAIDE, is this a Phantom purple or a toxic Green BA turbo ? Feel free to send me a P.M and I might be able to fill you in on the history of where either of these cars went after I worked on them and I’ll be happy to help you get her right again
  12. I’ve kept all my stuff that came with my VF Clubby too and NFI why lol
  13. Correct, everything is bigger on the 1400hp units
  14. Alex Sounds like you have done the installation as good as required mate so it’s not that at all, just a failure unfortunately but yeh I’ve used them plenty of times with great success and lasted ! Ol mate Rob is building me a pretty hectic ZF ( stage 4 / 800rwkw ) so he can’t be spending time working on your little issues 😂😂😂 I have been using the Whiteline black series complete arms too recently with what seems to be great success ( Borat ) so if you get no joy with warranty claims it could be a good option for you
  15. Seriously any professional workshop should have or should have access to any tool required to do the job correctly. You 100% can not tell up-to a 20rwkw / 50nm swing on the road when you’re over 300rwkw so how the bloody hell do you know if you’re anywhere near a completed tune with a bum Dyno… you just don’t !! its a tool for a reason, a highly calibrated device to plot exactly where and when you’re delivering torque and if you’ve maximised / saturated every aspect of the tune for the vehicle in question with stability around the environmental factors too.. Don't even get me started about trying to street tune and delivering anything close to what that tune would look like if done on a Dyno !
  16. You’ve ordered the wrong one, as per my previous post explains
  17. It’s a bit that way hey Tom Here it is with the cover off , you press down on the red button to reset in the event of it activating
  18. Sounds like you might have a partial short on the emergency fuel/start reset switch located in the passenger front footwell closest to the door hinge area Remove the plastic kick panel cover and on B series it’s located what seems like up near where the glove box hinge is On a FG series it’s an obvious pop out style reset button in pretty much the same location. This automatically opens cct when the vehicle has been in a front end impact but there’s a potential this button/cct could be partially shorting is a free look at and without more information an easy go to for you to look upon
  19. Ha one of my old school stickers ✊ Looks good Scotty ! Yeh nar mate, GT front end has more crap in the way than the F6/XR platforms so yerrr the instructions would be average at best on a GT platform
  20. Chucked a C63 on the Dyno for S&G Apparently Germans make good Vrooooms
  21. Looks good mate Something punters might not know is the fact M/T’s are better with temperatures hence being a killer street/drag tyre. They can sub 1.4 in the 60ft but when I used to run them as a daily tyre they’re a bit average cold. They shine best with 20psi, 1,2,3 burnout coming out the water box then it’s like Chit to a blanket from the launch. That said if you’re going a track minded tyre it’s best to step up to something better like a M&H but then never intend on using them on the street For a street vehicle with bigger power you’ll always get better tractability from a low wear rating tyre like Michelin PS4’s, Bridgestone RE03’s for that best hook when rolling on and next to no temperature from daily duties #JustSayn
  22. And tuning…..
  23. is there imaginary injectors in this list 🙃 Yes O.P you’re in the 10k mark easy for drive in drive out / supplied fitted
  24. Hey Skotty Yep, that’s the common story unfortunately as very few people actually check the correct preload against the crush washer when changing flanges. Hit me up via P.M and I can sort you out with what would technically be a full overhaul as there’s no point in doing any less from this point on in.
