Well guys, to make it 2 Police officers recommendations I actually bought myself an FG XR6 Turbo and think that if the Police forces changed from Expensive Daewoo to Ford we would actually be able to catch some of the hoon drivers instead of calling it off because the gutless VE's can't keep up. I love my work, driving to & from because that's the only time I get to drive my FORD.

The guy I got the stripes thru made a template up for the FG so I'm not sure if he has done a BA before. I can ask if you would like. As for being cheap and tacky well each to their own I suppose, let me tell you they certainly were not cheap. I have no desire to drop it as I have been down that path before and all you doing is throwing the whole dynamics out the window, the ride is bad and every little bump/hump/dip in the road you have to stop to get over. Everyone I have spoken to has had a different opinion of the stripes some good some bad. At the end of the day its my car and I love it. The colour isn't black it is silhouette, it sometimes looks black, very dark grey, very dark blue, depends on the day/time/light/angle. Thanks for the welcome guys. I have a couple of other cars that I am working on putting together. 1. 1972 TC Cortina 4 door, my plan is to put in newer Falcon running gear, eg. 1996 up a basic ba/fg engine and gearbox. 2. 1974 MK3 2 door Cortina. my plan on this is to drop in an FG XR6 turbo motor and all the gear to make it run nicely.

Hi all. This is my very stock FG XR6 Turbo. I will be doing some mods a little down the track, at the moment I am just letting it settle in and see if there is any warranty issues before I do any other things. Here is the before & after shots.
