  1. hi Ef I know this may generate a number of comments from others but LSD is not important to me. I referred to the LSD as I know a lot of forum members think that becuase the G6ET doesnt have LSD its not worth getting. cant wait for my g6et without LSD - I will be very happy!
  2. Hi Withnail I ordered the same thing in Ego - I am expecting delivery 29/10 (I hope). I agree for what you get its a pretty good deal. I was shifting between the XR6t and the XR8 but I also like my luxury bits so in the end it was the G6ET! I looked at upgrading the XR but by the time you get all the bits its cost is similar (yes excluding the LSD!) and when it comes to resale I am not sure if you get the return. if I could afford it would have been the GT-E!!!! congrats and look forward to some pics - will post some of mine when I get it.

    cant wait for mine to arrive - mid/late October - Ego with shadow interior. kept to the standard wheels. currently have aWM Caprice with 20" and the ride is pretty hard.
  4. correct! like ColinT I took my wife to look at the cars but she fell in love with an XR6T in Nitro rather than the G6ET in Ego that was in the showroom. if I get it might have trouble keeping her from driving the car!!!! luckily she hates the WM Caprice I currently drive so never a problem. she drives a Focus Zetec so will get a bit of a frill in the Turbo. still not decided but leaning to the XR6T for something abit more sports like. it might come down to which one I can get first - not good at waiting. I am assuming that the issue with the delay in delivery for the turbo effectsboth the XR6T & GE6T? hoping to place an order in the next 2-3 weeks.

  6. thanks mate pretty much cruiser who likes to have a car that can go when you need it! went on the ford site and priced up both cars and with all the options I can add to the xr6t was still below the G6ET although you still miss out on some of the stuff you mention like wing mirror indicators, seat memory etc.. that you cant option up on the XR6T. this may sound stupid but not keen on the shiny black plastic in the G6ET centre console - hoping that the luxury upgrade in the XR6T keeps the orginal colour - know that they change the side spears. any thoughts on which one is likley to hold its value better? sounds like another trip to the dealer thanks for the welcome

Hi All on my learners at the moment as a forum member so please excuse any mistakes. currently deciding between XR6T with luxury pack & a few other bits like Tech Pack or the G6ET with all the goodies & 19" wheels. was initially looking at the XR8 but seems like the turbo is the way to go - will be my first turbo. any comments on which way I should go would be appreciated. things like resale value - never keep cars for too long! always been a Ford driver but did go over to the dark side with my current car WM Caprice with 6litre V8 - seen the light and want to come back!!! with the XR6T looking at nitro or octane and if G6ET Ego or Seduce decisions decisions!!!
