  1. Yep; Happened to me a month or so ago. Had the car parked in the driveway of my girlfriends house - Coldasac, non main road. A few cars in the street got egged. Mine got hit on the roof and splintered a bit of the paint off. Luckily my girlfriends dad got up for work nice and early and noticed it before he left. He washed most of it off for me which was lucky because by the time I had woken up the weather was hot. Spent most of that morning washing, polishing and waxing it all off.
  2. There was a guy on here who owned both a T and an SS and said the SS won it everytime in power/torque in the low RPMS. I think it was Aeron or someone (But that was an Xr6t not an F6) I think at the end of the day it comes down to what you'd prefer - As they're both great cars which are easy to mod and get power out of.
  3. No longer an issue!! The finish on the wheels went back to normal (still don't know what it was) and TCR (from these forums bought them off me) and I have since sold the Xr. Work cars are awesome!!
  4. Awesome looking rims!! Where did you snap those up from :P Love the black on black! Would definately turn alot of heads. Cheers
  5. Hey Paul, Car looks great! The springs should settle a bit more.. Normally it takes a couple hundred kilometres. Cheers
  6. It's all good! There were locating rings on the hub from my other rims. Taken them off, and all is good. Cheers
  7. Haha, I'm putting it all back to stock because I'm selling it...
  8. Yeah, that was the first thing I checked before. They are definately on the right way as they wern't actually removed at all when the rims when on. I might slowly drive the car down to Ford tomorrow to find out what it is. Arghh
  9. I just jacked the rear up and tried to wobble the rim. The rim is on tight - Its not budging. But the brakedust shield is still moving. I'm not sure if I have a rooted brakedust shield (on all 4 rims which seems unlikely) or whether there should be a small extension on the rim to hold it in. Hmmm
  10. that's wierd. I might go jack it up again. All the rims are on as far as they go and there is movement on all 4 brake dust shields.
  11. I thought so too but I can't remember how it used to be. The wheel is sitting on the axle as far as it will go on and its a set of BF Xr6 rims which came off a BF Xr6 and straight swapped onto mine.
  12. Hey guys, I had my 19s swapped back to some stock BF Xr6. I swapped my rims for TCR's stock BF Xr rims. I went to drive today and I noticed my brake dust protector on all 4 wheels are bouncing around and making a racket. Can someone tell me whether there is meant to be a spacer between the rim and the brake dust protector? Or whether the brake dust protector is meant to be stuck to the axle, etc, etc. I think its a really simple fix but Im trying to get it done asap. Cheers
