  1. Black with red stripe looks not too bad on a white car IMO mate..
  2. Here are a few pics of mine. Silver and black.
  3. Yeah that's what I though just longer bolts on the fg!
  4. Fitted up my new brakes today. Still waiting on braided brake lines and new pads.
  5. I got silicone on mine mate to get a good seal had no probs with it.
  6. I have pedders lowered leafs and front coil springs with bilstien shocks front and rear with whiteline front and rear swaybars and Malwood tramp rods now. Handles real well.
  7. Nice work Matt she is flying mate. Nice time you will get that 9 soon enough.
  8. Finally got to take the ute for a run at the track last night since I got it retuned last november and just got lots of wheel spin with the street tyres lol. Best run I got was 12.273 @ 125.61mph with 2.189 60ft. Pretty sh*t lol. There is another meet this Friday which I'm heading out too ordered a set of 275/40/17's mt et streets last week so they should be here for that. Also got a Malwood tramp rod kit too which has made a noticeable difference to the rear end. Also thought I could live with out brembos after selling my 6pots but stock calipers with DBA T3 rotors and ferodo ds pads are just not cutting it so got on to a guy selling this setup off his GT r-spec.
  9. Yep I'm converting mine to manual slowly getting over the zf lol.
  10. I'm at work out the mines ATM mate not home till Sunday night. If I remember I will measure it when I get home. Cheers
  11. You after a pair of these? They are -8 got them from furious performance.
  12. I would give these guys a call mate I'm sure they could help you. http://www.malwoodauto.com.au/
  13. Put territory rear calipers and 328x26mm rotors (which are ventalated not solid) on and they will bolt straight up no need for a shim. I have them on the rear of my fg ute.
  14. Got a question will a 18x10 -1 offset fit on rear of a fg ute?
  15. As said above Won't fit mate I had to sell my xr50 rims for other to clear my brembos. Rears will be bigger then what you have they are a 328mm rotor yours should be 303mm there abouts.
  16. Need Pics^^^^
  17. Pretty sure CAT600 on ford forums has one on his twin turbo xr8 with his nizpro built zf there was pics of it in his build thread, but have not seen any pics of it fitted.
  18. Spoke to joe mate there is a few different options and depending on how much power you are looking for. Probably best to give him a ring ford freak he is more then helpful. The one I'm getting gets rid of the cv joints and replaces them with uni joints with a slip yoke. It's like what the v8 brute utes use he said.
  19. All good mate when I get more info on it I will post it up. I will ring cms tomorrow and get some better details on it.
  20. Yeah should of wrote that earlier that they were Ferodo lol. Haha yeah stock looking is what im aiming for atm. Yeah think it's a stronger oversize cv unit. Joe said its good for a 1000hp so must be pretty heavy duty. Will wait and see when I get it back and give some details then.
  21. Still waiting for the rear rotors to arrive pads are Ferodo DS performance
  22. Yeah mate matt from race brakes Sydney recommended it all. Said its about as good as it gets for stock brakes. Also got braided front hoses too. Yeah mate my tailshaft has 2 cv joints the middle one behind the carrier bearing was near stuffed and the rear one was not far off so want to get it sorted before I get back to the drags. Still have not been sense I got my new tune with the new GTX about 6-7 months ago
  23. Thanks mate yeah it leaks every now and then. Its been good lately. Bit of an update sold my brembos and swapped a mate my Lenso's for his stock rims. Just want it to blend in and not stick out that much. Brought new DBA T3 front and rear rotors with DS performance front and rear pads and new ap racing dot 5 brake fluid. Also the drive to Sydney and back at Christmas with a ute full of gear took its toll on the tailshaft cv's so I pulled it off and sent it to CMS today to get rebuilt with the big one they do so looking forward to getting that back.
