yeah lol I still havent put the car back on the road- now that we have 3 cars between us I dont need to use it, so im in even less of a rush. I do miss it though, so will need to get back into it.

hey mate- this is exactly what I have done- the best place to splice in is behind the glovebox. all the speaker wires go through there EXCEPT the front drivers side- that's a tricky one to find. I ended up splicing from inside the door. didnt know which wire to use for the subwoofer channel though (as the speaker wires come from the factory amp which is no longer connected) so just used the signal that the signal processor specified- cant remember which one now but obviously a full range channel. my build (so far) link is here if that helps: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/80955-starting-new-stereo-build/
