how do you drive- baby it or constantly dong 11s's ha ha

cat converter is a real weak link in an other wise good exhaust system. my tuner 'hi flowed' the stock cat on mine for $150. I know its cash but not alot. you would get the extra once was retuned to suit. maybe add a poofteenth more boost, say 0.3psi to get the extra 6 as well..... it is nice to actually get a dyno sheet with over 300 on it.....

I was gonna get a typhoon, but couldnt justify the extra $$$ over a good modded xr6t.... when I asked my tuner what sort of power I could easily get from a phoon, was told all I need would be a flash box and custom tune $1000.00- say hello to 330rwkw- and easy 12 sec 1/4 mile. awesome- go for it!

got my car back today- 303rwkw on 14psi. not bad for an auto. man it flies- I'm stoked...

my cars been in heinrich's for couple days. got a call tonight to say is all ready- 303rwkws @14psi. what boost are you guys running to get 320+? I asked if I could wind it up a bit, bruce said fine but he does like to play it safe and look after trans and bottom end, nothing wrong with that though.... so who's running more boost than 14psi on standard 4 speed auto and bottom end- any hassles? I'm tempted to get him to wind it up to 320, but then again I havent picked it up yet so might be stoked with how it feels witth over 300.....

rapid kits are da bomb.......

saw one on a 4wd that had a pic of ireland on it with the words: 'well, oil, beef, hooked' very clever....

rapid coolers are ace! xforce exhausts are great. bolt on- drive away happy! remember though that the standard xr6t exhaust is great- twin 2 1/4 all the way- but the cat sux. get rid of that restriction and booyeah!!!

welcome to the forum dude. I love shorelines had 20's on my ef. blueprint is a sweet colour too. I need a trans cooler aswell, pwr is the way to go. try repco I think or maybe motor traders.

I didnt mean 300 without these extra things- just collectin them ready to aim for that power. now have typhoon valve springs, seimens dekas, getting 12psi actuator, big cat and walbro pump. going in sometime this week, hopefully rolling out with 300+....

theres a lot of mumbo jumbo on this thread for us guys that are not familiar with the nitty gritty. eg duty cycle .5 , .55 etc. so for the uneducated in custom tuning, what was the simple answer? as many, including myself go the familiar route of intake mods, flash, tune, cooler, injectors, valve springs, fuel pump- is a stronger, say, 12psi actuator a good mod to do, or a waste of money? I'm chasing anything over 300rwkw. will more power be able to be tuned in with one? once again, just for the not-so-educated in intricate tuning proceedures....

try tempe tyres. that's where worx gets them but then they whack on $$$. ive got 4 sets from them over the years. usually takes 2-3 days to your door. they come balanced ready to bolt on. some killa specials too. www.tempetyres.com.au
