what is this product- never heard of them. where did you get them from and how much?

I live in the adeliade hills though which can typically be 2/3rds to 1/2 the temp of adelaide at night... isnt a lower first number better when its a bit colder at start up?

umm hope I dont open a can of worms but my tuner said not to use fully synth on the t as it 'stuffs the cams'? I would have thought fully synth would have been best. my wife just bought me some shell helix fully synth 5W-40. should I put it in or not?

injectors willl handle WAY more than 300 so a good product to go for straight away. no upgrade will be reqired later. walbro is tried and tested too. I would see how much your tuner is going to charge for one installed and compare it to ebay/ freight /install only. may be just as cheap anyway...

remove any badges identifying it, put an xr6 (not turbo) badge on the back and theyll prol think its a faker. theres plenty going around. then rebadge it properly when you are off ya p's. you wont be able to mod it though cause the tu tu tu tu will give you away.

its an alignment issue for sure. as you drive, the wheels end up turning at slightly different speeds, with turning, wheel spin etc. so every now and then they get to a certain point where the weights on them react to the weights on the other wheels and cause the car to shudder. that's why it only happens now and then. get a good wbalance done on each wheel and the prob most likely will dissapear.

yeah that's crap. its one thing to say "that's the way its made" but if they are advertising them as 'top quality' or 'direct fit' then that's false advertising. they can provide a crap product if they want, but at least could have warned you that you will have to do some work to bring it up to spec, and charge less. if I were you id be back on the phone demanding a refund.... :argue:

330 would have been 16psi but I want my bottom end to last a bit longer. bruce reckons its place your bets as to whos bottom end spits first- yours or mine ha ha

well had a dump installed today and ran 305rwkw on 12psi. then a quick tidy up and bruce had it at 320.7rwkw on 14psi. im happy as it is a safer tune for the ba bottom end, but still making more power- and a quicker spool up. sweet! next up a typhoon bottom end (when this one goes bang) and we'll see where the power goes from there.

yeah sure they can. if you have a 3.5 inch system with a 2 inch outlet, that's the max the exhaust will flo. imagine cutting out a length of pipe in the middle of the system and chucking in a length of 2 inch instead. flo would suck. so the whole exhaust can only flo the MINIMUM diameter at any point. 3.5" exhaust? as long as you have at least a 3.5" tip, or twin 2.5" (no- it doesnt equal 5") it will flo fine. having said that, dont expect more power if you throw on some fully sick 5" cannons. big tips are only good for looks. I have twin 4" on mine.

so im in the low 300rwks now, and am looking for a bit more. had all the usual stuff done, made 314rwkw. since then had a twin 2.5 zorst put on. cat is big. just about to have a dump installed and retuned to suit. is there any real benefit to putting on an underdrive pulley? $300 or so for 10rwkw is not bad- anyone else found it to be worthwhile?

what is the best size dump pipe to use for quick boost spool up? I have over 315rwkw, and a 'modded' (ha ha) cat, twin 2.5" mild steel system, but standard dump. also is a big open dump better for flo, or a smaller one with a separate waste gate pipe? any advice appreciated as I know stuff all about dump pipes.

sorry if im hijacking thread, but is there actualy a difference between the aux cable, and 'amplified' aux cable?

yeah its possible, but ALOT easier with the ICC removed. thare is a sticky in the interior thread about how to remove and it is DEAD easy, even if your not too mechanically inclined. when you are wiring, check all voltages while turning on/ off headlights and wipers. I ran into a bit of trouble as the voltage was perfect till I put everything back, then all went haywire when the lights came on. doh!
