  5. what model it is out of. after 06/06 build is the way to go. had typhoon internals the serial number on the block behind the turbo in front of bellhousing can identify the build date. phone ford and see if they will look it up for you

  7. my tuner removed the dodgy factory filter when doing my first round of mods 18 months ago....

  9. 345 is too much power for a btr 4 spd. get a bf and keep it under 375rwkw. should be enough anyways...
  10. nah the xr has a smaller turbo. smaller than ba-bf. the typhoon has the same one as these. fg's spool up quick so are fast of the line, but cant hold big boost...

  12. none of those work too well, due to the amount of expansion/ contraction from the massive heat. the g lock tabs arent effected by this.

  14. ebay usually has a listing, but I just looked at and couldnt find any? you could make some up yourself out of 1mm flat bar. heres a picture: its the little silver one at the bottom
  15. nah they ar an L shaped washer. they have 2 tabs on the side. when the nut is tight, 1 gets bent on a flat side of the nut, and the other gets bent onto the side of the manifold. the nut cannot undo. ask your tuner, he should know where to get em...

  18. I lost 3rd and fourth 2 weeks ago and used it for low speed runs (not highway) with no probs. then drove it 50k's to workshop. just be aware that the whole thing may stop at any time...
  19. go get some g locks. I had to have mine tightened eevery couple months until I put g locks on and have had no probs for 6 months.
