stuff ford. get it to your tuner. he may well not charge anything to diagnose it, and would be alot more reasonable than fraud.....

dont buy the gear first- talk to your tuner. half the stuff available is fine, but you may well make the max power your turbo will allow with less hardware than you think, then you will have wasted your money. get info from your tuner before anything else.. knowledge is POWER!!!

dont get a 'kit' with a power figure quoted. go to a good tuner (hpf is fine) and talk to them directly. they can let you know what mods will net what power/ drivability (no point in getting a 600rwkw tune when you get turbo lag till 4500rpm). fg turbo's are pretty much at the limit at 350rwkw due to small turbo. very quick off the line though.....

its not just a sound thing though. surely more power would be made bypassing the mufflers?

I think they are called varex? might be ok for the track but pretty much would sound like an exhaust with no muffler at all.

nice mate! with a built bottom end, all you need to do is sort out the bolt ons for some killa power. welcome to the madhouse!

yeah theres no point as the xr6t makes more power and torqu3 at any rev range......

ha ha the answer to that is probably: more. that's it, just more. then when you have more, the answer will be more... I dont reckon more is ever enough....

you need to buy a tuning module- sct, vcm suite and there are a couple others too. then take a visit to a good tuning workshop. 1200 bucks will be pretty close to get a 40-50 rwkw upgrade. then the skies the limit once you are addicted (and you will be). then you can say goodbye to all your $$$ trying to chase more.... dont try to fight it, its an illness.....

dont fret too much dude, there are plenty of blocks around at wreckers if you dont have too much coin. I would contact a good tuner near you and see if they can help you out. try the forum sponsors on here, and they will prol be sympathetic and try to help you out. when the new block goes in, get a good tune done. shouldnt have alot of probs after that.... good luck poor fella!
