I already had my car making 340- after paying for the supporting mods of course. once you have mods to go mid 300's, there is no other cost involved, other than the cost of putting it on the dyno to do afr's/ timing. my e85 tune is actually 50/50 with 98 ron. made 20rwkw extra with just a fuel change... 4k on a gas system will go a hell of a long way toward performance mods. -------

true ratter, but that's what e85 is for. when you can easily make 350+ with the petrol products readily available, then why spend 4k on a gas setup? as stated. it can be done, and some do things for the challenge, and sure, why not? but normally people think gas to save money, not to get better performance. I dont think gas is suited to high power boosted applications... but true, that is only my opinion.

it wasnt aimed at you bionic. I agree completely. the SWITCH from petrol to gas would cause big problems at 4000rpm and 17+ psi...

mate your missing the point. boosted applications are vastly different to n/a,. if you have a poofteenth of a lean moment on boost then bang. a boosted/ tuned big torque motor is nothing like an anemic hsv...
