yep- 4 speed auto will pop with 350 (or less) ba bottom end will throw a rod sooner or later, so start saving for a new fg f6 short (3 grand) for when it does. you do NOT need a flapper mod. a good tune will sort out any spikes. I havent bothered as yet. stock f6 valve springs will do fine (cheap from 'fraud') if you dont put it on the limiter often. if you do it will be unsettled for a while after you have. big dump pipe, big cat/s, twin 2.5" exhaust or single 3.5" (or bigger). dont need stainless system unless you want bragging rights. I recommend redback for an off the shelf system. aaa exhausts at mile end are who I use. deka 60lb injectors or similar are a must. do get the biggest intercooler system you can afford. I use rapid's system personally. if you can afford a nice plenum (nispro, process west, nitto, etc) then do so . also a surge tank is a necessity. process west is the way to go for this. for more ideas go to the 300+ thread.
