  1. Just booked a holiday for myself, the wife, and 2 daughters to California (Los Angeles, Anaheim, Sequoia national park, San Francisco, and a few stops along highway 1 from SF to LA), Nevada (Las Vegas) & Arizona (Grand Canyon) in April. its going to be the first time in USA for us. who's been? any tips? (pun intended). favourite spots? any other advice? cheers
  2. I'm in great mood tonight because the other day I entered a competition and I won a years supply of Vegemite......... one jar.
  3. I was in Big W and I saw this man and woman wrapped in a barcode. I said, ''Are you two an item?''
  4. A woman has twins, and gives them up for adoption. One of them goes to a family in Egypt and is named 'Amal.' The other goes to a family in Spain, they name him Juan'. Years later; Juan sends a picture of himself to his mum. Upon receiving the picture, she tells her husband that she wished she also had a picture of Amal. Her husband responds, ''But they are twins. If you've seen Juan, you've seen Amal.''
  5. A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says: ''Ugh, that's the ugliest baby I've ever seen!'' The woman walks to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: ''The driver just insulted me!'' The man says: ''You go up there and tell him off. Go on, I'll hold your monkey for you.''
  6. still surprises me that so called car guys think they are 'breaks'... give the boost solenoid a spray with wd40 as well. the bum dyno usually appreciates it.
  7. yeah. like I said be different...
  8. or maybe do something different...
  9. awesome Expensive Daewoo exhaust tips...
  10. its been dropping out of performance mode randomly- have to turn car off and on again to get to going. yesterday I went to Adelaide airport to get e85, and when I was sitting at lights it dropped out of semi automatic shift mode and the trans display on the dash very quickly flashed between N and R (?) and it took off as if the trans was changing from neutral to drive quickly a few times. I stopped in the next side street and switched off and on again and it was fine then. but felt like it lost power and seemed like it took alot longer to build boost. maybe because it was stinking hot but I dunno.
  11. nah not hot. never tried before, but having a few problems so wanted to see what was going on fault wise. might need to take a trip to you aaron to sort out...
  12. yeah ignition is 'on'. battery is a yellow top optima.
  13. I plugged in my xcal3 this morn, but it says unable to read fault codes? also the car wont rev past 3000rpm in neutral- has it gone into limp mode? I also have an elm327 with the torque obd2 app but it says its unable to read the fault codes either- ecu not compatible
  14. so maybe using the same 6ohm resisters that the led indicators require might work for the brake lights. worth a try.
  15. I have standard reverse globes so no probs there. led indicator globes did blink fast until I put the cheapy eBay 6 ohm resistors in. now they're fine. I did consider wiring standard brake bulbs back in and leaving them behind the side boot carpet.
  16. hi all on searching the forums re cruise control not working it would appear the cruise control on a b series wont engage if there are led brake lights installed. would anyone know or be able to work out if a resistor could be put inline to give the correct signals for the cruise? cheers
  17. the problem is it takes so long to find the info you want with the search. I got the answer in 2 mins this way. its a no brainer to start a new thread tbh.
  18. just a quick one- can the xcal3 read and display fault codes? cheers
  19. I have the same width rears but in 19". +25 offset. they scrape with rolled guards and moderately low but look flush- they do not stick out of the guards at all. fronts will sit too far in imo. +25 will be flushish- +20 hellaflush. +15 with poke.. my fronts are 19 x 8.5 +25 offset.
