  1. "Pit Inspection" - I pretty much just made that term up myself lol. Managed to find out the info I required today. Inspection for road worthy certificate is 90 bucks. Just that some of the stories I had come across were of thousands of dollars being required. Probably only cars that aren't road worthy to start with, and I wont be getting one of those. Cheers
  2. I'm looking at buying a new car in the next couple of months, and, typical modern day problem in Western Australia, cars can be considerably cheaper in the eastern states. I've read through as much info as I can on bringing cars into W.A and it seems that pit inspections can be avoided, which would help save money. But one requirement that is deemed necessary to skip the pits, is that the car has been registered in my name for a period of greater than 12 months. Therefore I would have to get it inspected. I would also be assuming that the car is stock standard. I"m having trouble finding out what sort of costs are involved and just how much of a hassle this inspection would be, so if people who have been through this process could provide there experiences, it would be a great help in my planning.
  3. have been in my mates ba mark 2 that made 301rwkw off just tune and injectors. tuned by simon at xtreme. was a bit of a freak engine though
  4. There is a term amongst the japanese drag scene called RH9. Its given to a car that can run 9 second quarter miles on street legal tyres and pump fuel. Mainly skyline gtr's with 4wd. quite a few in japan and the U.S.A and a few in Aus I think (don't know if we cheat and use Japanese octane levels 100+). Do we have any falcons able to do this now or how close are we?
  5. Yeah that guys name is Matt Berry. He's in The Mighty Boosh, The I.T Crowd, and that show Snuff Box. all very strange, and 607% hilarous. big ups to brit comedy's
  6. perfect is the word. especially cos its dumped. imagine if they were 20's....
  7. With the amount of power and the times some straight sixes in supras are being achieved, surely its only a matter of time before the falcon 6's get there too.
  8. looks like it should be, but yeah a pic from further out would be good
  9. gets my vote. although a fatter ass would be better. cosmetically, not in heftiness
  10. yeah it helps me. I'd already got a new battery but it still had the problem of revs dropping really low, like to 250, and back again. I also changed the fuel filter too, as I thought that it was something to do with fuel, and was overdue anyway.
  11. haha I got the direction sorted. was 99.999% sure which way it went, with it being quite simple logic and all, but just that little bit not sure, like it might be on a return line or something. anywho!! I've tried undoing it and redoing a couple of times but still leaking. I'll try again tomorrow morning with a fresh start and some sunlight. cheers anyway peoples
  12. hey I just bought a new fuel filter for my ba. took out the old one (exactly the same as the new one), put the new one in and its leaking from the rear connection. I've checked it all but it just leaks when the pump is running. I've also had a blonde moment and forgotten which way it flows. towards the front of the car right? any suggestions?
  13. here is one for the burnouts. the last one obviously isn't illegal but still mental. burnouts I'd like to see a picture of the worlds biggest burger
  14. ah ok. well it should get airtime. if drifting can get some then this should. saw some other videos and they were saying it was like a mix of rally and motorkhana and somethin and I thought it might be new. eh... impressive none the less.
  15. Well I think its fairly new. another offspring of rally. anyone seen or heard much bout this gymkhana business? its got to be the most insane drifting I've seen and really does have to be seen to be believed!! anyone know of any of these events in australia? name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>"> name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="628" height="525">
