  1. Its a no brainer, sell. Cars are the worst investment known to mankind. Its just going to depreciated sitting in your shed. Good luck with the sale but, Ive got my 2008 fg turbo 83000km for sale on here + carsales + gumtree + ebay at a giveaway price of $21900 and would take $21500 but haven't even had a call. Its a truly immaculate, much loved, well serviced car with every option except leather. Not one call even at that price. Theres BF's on there for that.

  4. Ok, settle down boys, biased may be a possibility. Lee is the only guy I let near my car anyway and everyone knows my word is gospel. I operate on a reputation & personal/others experiences ie word of mouth. 6boost, Profile & Real Dyno Performance are the only ones I have not heard or experienced bad things about/with. Just my 2cents. Not trying to start a tuner war. :orc: As an overall shop with donkeys years of experience, especially turbo vehicles, r & d on every xr6t model since there release, striving for customer satisfaction no matter what and just plain good honest blokes as well. I can personally say that some of the other tuners will just throw there hands in the air and let you drive out of there shop with an unsatisfactory job due this or that when the sh*t hits the fan. Wont happen there. Good luck with your choice anyway op.

  7. Hi Theresa, your gonna have to ditch the spacesaver and get a spare 20 obviously. Put it back on to the dealer if you can. Dont worry about MexicanBatman either. You've come onto the site with a legitimate problem and major safety concern and kindly warned us, only to get ridiculed by a childish tosser. You'll now go on to tell family and friends about this treatment which gives this site and the members a bad name. Come on mods, fair enough there are some gooses that come on here, but theresa clearly had a genuine problem and has approached this site to pass on her experience. My son has severe speech language impairment, does that mean if he gets into xr6t's like his dad and comes on here without good grammar, he'll get sh*t put on him?   13. So your saying CBXRT THAT 204 RWKWS for a BA TURBO is average at best? We are talking a T and not a PHOON yes? If you are talking about a T than, as in your other posts in various other threads, you have your hand firmly planted on it.

  15. If your ZF is the only thing causing you dramas then spend some coin on it. Tune and cooling. Better than your other option which is to go back to a ba-f and have to install a c4/glide etc. Dont want to lose you to the b-side mate.

  17. FG hands down, no comparison. At the end of the day, a BF is just an upgraged BA. FG got miles of improvements on top ranging from engine(head, plenum etc) to handling, interior and instruments, high output fuel pump, bigger injectors and modern looks. I could go on all day, someone post up more upgrades if they want, its never ending. Who gives a f*ck about the max turbo output. Youll be up for a turbo rebuild sooner rather than later in the BF anyway if it hasnt had the screen done or the oil line checked regularly which most of them dont. The valve springs were carried over from the bf. I get in my mates bf f6 and it feels very dated. Dont get me wrong, awesome car but f*ck going backwards if you can afford an FG. Worlds apart from the B series and I absolutely love mine, never had one single problem with it. Soon to be in a GS hopefully.
  18. Mine still did it with a brand new battery. Its obviously just a software problem due to the fact that I never had it happen again after my tune. You would be going down the right track by purchasing an FG instead of throwing money at your BA. I wasted stacks of cash on my BA thanks to a dodgy well known southside bris tuner. Got my FG and absolutely love it.

  20. my ba had a noise I swore was an engine problem. turned out to be the springloaded arm that the idler pulley is mounted on.
  21. do you have stock cooler and plumbing? has your tune got all the timing pulled? if so get a decent cooler setup and have your tune adjusted. even better, put an fg turbo on it and youll hammer off the line.
