  1. Hey guys. Im in for this. I will probably go up both days depending on the weather. My boy loves the V8s and it is how racing was 20 years ago. No bag searches, no high fences. So gary I'll be there on the Sat morn with Connor and Betzy and as I said, probably go back up on the Sunday too. Sorry I have been absent guys. A few personal and financial issues as well as the other thing which those in the know are aware of. See ya next Saturday. Oh and bye the way, I'll assume we wil be sticking to 110 on the way up?
  2. I gotta bail. The girlfriend has organised a weekend away and I didnt realise it conflicted until I just looked in my calendar. Sorry Dillz. I really wanted to help out.
  3. Dillz. how many CCs are coming and do you want us there a bit earlier to go over anything? Your call mate. I've never been on one this big (As the prostitute said tot he priest) This may be the last cruise I go on for a while so I'm keen to make it a good one.
  4. Great vid Gary. Brings back bad memories :(
  5. xrt4.0, where did you hear that? It did push 12s.
  6. The knocking sounds similar to one ive had. Its actually one of the pullys on the belt at the front of the motor.
  7. Its easier for me on the Sunday. Im in for that day. Do you want to do the organising Gary or you want me to? I don't mind. Bit lethargic of late but I'm getting my mojo back...slowly.
  8. Yeah that was funny. Bloody annoyed about my brake fluid though. But I'll bleed them this week. Yep some of the best roads I've ever driven on. And the sceneary was just awesome. Guys who didnt come missed out big time. I would suggest this become an anual thing Gary. Like the Snowies cruise if possible. Just to good to only do every 2 years. WHat you think?
  9. Had a great time up until about 10 am this morning. Nuff said. Thanks Gary for a well organised cruise. Thanks to Mark, Jamie, Russ, Bethany and of course Gary for great company...and your support. Excellent roads, almost as good, if not better than the Snowies Cruise last year. In fact, Id have to say that the run through to Omeo on Saturday was even better. Bethany drove home from Seymour. Didnt do a bad job. Thanks again to you all, and an especially BIG BIG thanks to Rusty for not pushing my car onto the oval at 3am.
  10. Rusty....Bite me.......they are in my pocket already.... smart@rse lol
  11. But Worm, how often do you need to fill up and how far do you get on a tank of LPG? My daughters Mazda runs on the smell of an oily rag. Its cost me about $70 this week whereas the T would have cost me $150. I remember I had a HX 5.0 litre Van in 1984. It had twin 50 litre tanks and it cost me $55 to fill from bone dry. Mind you it got about 2 miles to the gallon.
  12. Guys. A 3 year old F1 car around our mountain. I LOVE Albert Park but the bloody Grand Prix should be there. Lowndes did try for F1. From memory Walkinshaw picked another guy over Lowndes and as mentioned, he came back with big debt cause its not about driver ability, its about how much moola you can bring to the team. Senna couldnt get a drive unless he had backing. Hows the bloody crowd for a dam test drive????
  13. LazyBrennan. Go with DBA rotors. Pads are up to you. Dont need a tune if you dont touch the cat. Air intake is fine to change. Cross drilled do crack.
  14. Dillz mate, ya want something befitting the class of the car. If ya gunna make it look like a rice burner, ya should have bought one of them. I have seen a couple and 1 looked good but didnt have the camera. I like the 2nd white and the last blac in your first post. The first ones I like, with the grey are what I am looking at so maybe piss off so I can get them first lol I wouldnt go black. not on that thing with the chrome at the front. But its up to you of course. Did you try lowering the pressures on the tyres??
  15. Same happens to me when the news is on. ARRRRGH!.
  16. They are a bit different to the Ford ones. Look good though and that is cheap. I have broken a fog lamp before and have also broken the cover which saved the lamp. Also saves them from getting sandblasted during normal driving.
  17. No worries Rus. Betty save your pennies on petrol anyway. lol You would have go bored whitless on your own anyhoo.
  18. So it is still 8AM meetup yeh?
  19. Gary, the foggy covers you can get through ford for between $40 and $50. I dont thin Aunger make them. I upgraded to the top RACV cover last year after I did my mods. I figured if I broke down on a cruise our up bush I didnt want it towed to some back yard bloke who would say "whats this for" and start undoing bolts. Rocky I thouyght the meet up was at 8am at Wallan?? Youll have some catching up to do if that's the case.
  20. Gary there my be an issue. A little bird has told me that somewhere in the vicinity of about 2000 horses will be roaming free on those roads during our cruise. There will be a red one a black one, a white one at least and another one every one calls green. May get a little crowded. lol
  21. Hey great write up Gary. Strange thing is, when I did mine, I didnt get any horny looking chicks at the front of the car. Just the dog. Hmm. Wrong globes maybe. Thanks for the mention too. You're a ledge.
  22. I spoke to Adam who was going to ask Rox to keep a lookout. They are in Seymour. In any case, I'm going to put some stuff at the front that can be easily removed for the twisties.
  23. Good stuff as usual Gary.
  24. If you want Gary, I'll call the local Police up there during the week and make some enquiries.
  25. I'll stand corrected if I'm wrong but I beleive mild steel will rust, stainless won't. X Force sound ok, but you'd go a long way to beat the note I get from my 4" full system. As far as 350 at the wheels. You are gunna need a tad more than just an exhaust son.
