Guys those pics are awesome. Thank you all for the great comments. While I'm glad everyone enjoyed themselves, the best thing is that everyone made it home ok. Rus and I just finished fixing his boost issue. Did some maintenance on his boost solenoide and he was astounded with the difference. He just left with a big smile on his face. I had a great time and sorry about the turnaround. I thought that road was ok but I didn't want to take the risk of stones or similar damaging someones pride a joy. Really great to see kids ont he cruise. I hope they had a good time. Dillz, love you avatar mate. Bethany is going to do some video later and post it. I'll download some pics as well.

Thanks for that Dillz. Ok regarding the weather. Obviously it is abismal today and I would say at this moment I wouldn't do a cruise. So as far as Sunday in concerned. Hmmm. The BOM say that we are going to get the tail of Yasi so we will experience bad rain tonight and tomorrow. Sunday it says drizzle. If its light rain, I am more than happy to continue but it will be a slow leisurely drive if that's the case with the highlight being lunch at Apollo Bay. If people wanna join me then great. But on Sunday morn I'll have a look at the radar and see what is down that way. It may be raining up here but dry down there but that's usually not the case. Fingers crossed though. HID XR, bring them along if ya can. I've borrowed 4 from Gary but having extra is always handy.

One way to test for voltage drop is to lock the car and arm the alarm. If there is a sunstantial voltage drop the alarm should go off. These are electronic throttle arent they? Maybe one of the switches has shat itself. If its under extended warranty drop into Fraud they may know straight away whats wrong.

I would just suggest the old fix mate. Take the battery off for a good half hour. You may have already done this but there is strange shiot that goes on with these cars. You have nothing to loose.

I had a similar issue and thought remotes. But mine was a bit more specific. The alarm would go off exactly 6.5 minutes after I locked it. It would also just go off during the night AND during the day. I traced it to the neg battery terminal. I have a battery relocation so the terminals are not easy to get too, but once I did the neg terminal was as very lose. I do agree with ebxmple though. The remotes get put in your pocket and get wet if you are in the rain etc etc and you do get corrosion in them. Maybe take them apart and give them a bit of a clean while you have the batteries out. Let us know how you go.

This is my second cruise as controller and my first without Gary, although Dillz is coming in the G6E which I think we are ALL dying to see. So hopefully you all enjoy yoursel;ves and its a good day. The master cylinder may indeed be the cause of the problem, but if your current rotors are warped you will still get shuuder until you change them. I'd pop into pedders for their $14 suspension check, get the results and contact Pat (senna_t) at Wholesale Suspension in Penrith, he will tell you whats right and wrong and what may be the cause of your shudder.

I don't think anyone knocks their work except you either like their plenum, or you don't. (I think the chrome 1200HP thing from Plazmann or PW is the best looking one I've seen.) I digress. Simon who runs Nizpro is the sort of bloke who is in your face and wont talk cr@p. A lot of people do not like that. I prefer it. Now there are certain mods/power ratio that just can't happen. You cant get certain power on the standard turbo no matter what you do. My point is, my car was tuned to 372 at the wheels. that's what the Dyno said, that's what I claim. However, I am told, by Simon, that there was 12 kw of wheel slip on the dyno, meaning the 372 is closer to 380. But they don't claim that. They only claim whats on the sheet. I like that. I havent been to another tuner. I hear absolutely amazing things about Tunehouse and CV and the like and I have no doubt that they are great guys and know what they are doing and you will be happy until your not. But you wanted experience. This has been mine. My only suggestion is to shop around, not looking for the best price, but see who you are comfortable with. that's just my opinion. I hope I dont get edited.

How is an intercooler "induction"? The air filter is induction. that's what sucks the air in. The intercooler doesnt "intake" any air. If it had holes in it and sucked in air I'd say fine id agree, but theres a loophole there I reckon.
