RHR is that your solution to everything??? What gear are you running to be doing 2300 on the highway??? Either your in 3rd or doing 160. At 100 kmh I'm clocking over just under 1700 rpm. I agree with whats suggested. Change fuel filter for starters. Id also consider chucking some injector cleaner in it unless some one else reckons this stuff is sh!te. Mine dones it when cold and in the garage if I give it a little rev.

Hi Samantha. Welcome to theforum. Gitta ask, why have you taken the mammoth step from a Corolla to a T? Also, if you are interested in cruises, keep an eye out for the combined Snowies Cruise around October. You may want to get a cruise or two under your belt first as this is 3 days of full on fun. But its a great cruise. Good luck with your car and yeah, post pics.

I get anywhere from 480 rto 750 to a tank depending if I am city or country. I average 11.8l/100 around town, sometimes up to 13l/100. I have had it as low as 8.6l/100 k on a country trip. Not bad with 600 hp. Eat that Prius.

Luckyfly I see your frustration but each tune is different and so is matched to the vehicle by the tuner. Returning it to stock would have been the go or just hand it over to the new owner. He has bought the car so why noit give him the flash unit. It would be like selling it with lock nuts but not giving the new owner the key. In the scheme of things, what your car is worth and what mods are worth, I wouldn't like to go using a flash edit from some other car. No way. Be like putting in some one elses false teeth just cause they were sitting there and I wanted a steak.

It was bloody hiddeous Gary. Rusty saw it. I think Dillz may have. It will stay with me forever as the WORST car modification I have ever seen.

I'm not sure I'd want too mny more to be perfectly honest. The limit I would have would be up to 8. Not other reason than a smaller group for a cruise like this is a bit easier to manage. But then I'm only trying to feel better cause we only have what, 5? What annoys me is that those that havent been on a cruise willkick themselve when they finally go on one, and those who are sort of hesitating are missing out on what will be a great 2 days. But what can ya do???

That last monstrosity is what we were confronted with on the way back. I tried to gouge my eyes out but I am still haunted. And Rusty, dont feel too bad at being out of the group pic. My car has been totally deleted!!!!!!!

Gary, I'll meet you around 7.40 at the south end of the Werribee By pass. You will have absolutely no trouble seeing me as I will stand out like a beakon in the night with my shiny wheels, buffed chrome and handsome good looks. Now I'll just warn you, woman have been known to woo in my presence, so if anyone is bringing a lady friend, be prepared. I just think its fair. I have changed my mind and don't want Jimmy Richo to sign my car, I want god man himself, the big Al. He is Mr. FORD and it is only fitting that I allow him to endorse my baby. Having his signature on my car will elevate him in status INSTANTLY!!! I shall now leave.

If you want first impressions, rig up something that throws a spider at them when they open the door. I must admit, the seats have become rather bland. I had a Mandarine NA BA with the matching orange and black interior. I loved that car. It just looked the goods. The same goes for the red and blues of the same era. Some of those pics are bloody awesome. Wish I had the $$ to redo my inside.

Leave it stock. Enjoy it, run it in properly and save for proper mods not bloody back yard odds and ends. Set yourself a goal. Say 20,000k before you mod. IMPORTANT!! Set yourself a budget and stick to it. In the months it takes you to get to 20,000 or whatever you decide, research your mods and work out what you want for the car. Don't just put cheap sh!t on it. Youve no doubt paid alot of money for the thing so dont go puttin eagle stickers on the bonnet and a bloody VN Late model camira rear wing or stuff like that. But in the end, its you car dude.

You may get a "Code Error" on the radio but it will reset once you start it and then turn it off again. The once the ecu is flashed it stays flashed until you re flsh it with another tune. Did the car come with a flash unit or do you know who tuned it? If you don't know, find out. Can be useful later on.

Hey where do you get the carpet you see that these guys do the custom sub installs with? Similar carpet to whats in the boot. Anyone know?

Ok, so the GOR cruise is done and dusted, now to look further on the horizon. So a big BUMP for this cruise. Lets see some more interest. Its a weekend that, I am positive, will have some great roads. Gary has done his homework on this one (does he ever NOT do his homework?) So come on peoples.

Nup. Didn't like that at all. lol Looks awesome mate. Sounded good when ya floored it. Don't like driving on that side of the road though. I could see myself wandering to the elft and taking out a cyclist or three. Looked like you had an awesome time. If ya had a choise, what would ya have, the 'stang or the wurbo???

I picked my car up last week from service at my tuner and there was a rattle. Cut a long story short, there was a sensor screwed into the caat that was finger tight. You can't see it, as its on the passenger side of the exhaust so you may miss it. I know tightening it solved the problem. It was at low revs and idling through a car park it sounded like a chalf cutter. May not be your issue but worth a look.

Ha ha Jono. We will be doing some more this year. Gary has been doing them lately. Dillz (The G6E that was with us yesterday) is also a cruise controller but he hasn't had a car. We have the All Ford Day in Gellong coming up, the Vic Alpine Cruise in March and a few other ones planned as well. The highlight of the year for me (unless the Alpine one is a good one, which I'm hoping it is) is the Combined States Snowies Cruise. Went on that last year and we are hoping Gary runs it again this year. 3 days of awesome roads. Bit long for a family but you never know.

Mate I have the same highlights and can't find out either. My main colour is breeze which is hard enough to get stuff for. I was told its Dark Argent same as the FPV wheels but this could be cr@p. Let me know how ya go as I need some too. I was just going to get some model aeroplane paint just to touch up but would prefer the real deal.

I think, when you look at the 2 group pics we did, the colour co ordinated, and the non colour one, it definately makes a difference. The non one isnt special, but the one properly lined up looks awesome. Its a matter of a opinion where the maroon one should have gone. Perhaps down the end, then the purple (sorry if Im not using correct colour name), then black then back up through blue to white. But either way, the point I'm making is that it is worth that little bit of effort.

I bring my daughter as cruises are our thing together. My 12 year old boy sometimes comes but usually bails and jumps in with Rusty, then falls assleep

Tab its was a great day thanks to a great turnout and a great bunch of guys (and gals). Weather was perfect and excepting a few traffic hold ups, was terrific. I have been taught by Gary and you know how well he does his cruises. Just happy we could do a colour cordinated shot for him. (He'd kick my ass if I didnt. lol)
