Hi Gmkiller. I have the stage 2+ which has the turbo housing mods, plus I have a 0.7 comp cover. I make 372 at the wheels. But let me give you a tip. Don't be too concerned about power. Once its fitted and tuned just wait for 2 things. 1 the bloody noise of the thing....not good for grandmothers, and 2, the responseiveness of the throttle. Screw the numbers man. The smile you will have on your dial is enough in my view. Is your car modded at all now? Ba 0r BF??

Stazza, not arguing, but how are the figures distorted? Up or down? Im running Nizpros full stage 2+ kit and my fuel economy was the saame after the injectors were done, but when I went to the stage 2 with the plenum etc it dropped. I had it down to 8.8 yesterday on the freeway from Werribee to Richmond. It just kept dropping.

I have the Nizpro battery relocation with the dry cell battery. Half the size of normal battery and although not lithium, still a nice little setup. Heat doesn't affect it either.

I know I'll get shouted down, but I can't see the point in running around getting the flash box unlocked or even buying a second hand one. I bought mine with the tune and as far as I'm cioncerned it stays with the car, whether I sell it, keep it, or give it to simsmetal. If I get another T I'll get another flash boz. I'm not made of money just cant be bothered throwing good money away spednding effor for little return. Just my opinion.

While I agree with you 100% are they going to fix it? I have told this story before but this is releavent. I asked the Service Manager to have the guys remove the in line turbo oil filter. He told me there was only the engine oil filter. There was no in line filter for the oil for the turbo. THAT was the service manager. I think you know what people call it Fraud, not Ford.

Mate I recently put lower, higher rate springs on my BFII Update and had to move the collar down to cater for the longer, higher rate spring. Anything is possible.

With the moving of the air box to the drivers side, you now have oodles of room on the passenger side. I'd be moving it over there rather than jam it all up. Plus, if your terminals arent redily accessible, the scutineers may not let you near a track. How is rescue going to disconnect your terminals in the event that they have to?? Just a thought cchamp. Dont want you going to all that trouble for nothing. Looks a good option though. Hey what pod filter are you running?

I always take it easy when its cold. The biggest wake up to me was when I installed an oil temp guage. Its amazing how long the oil takes to come up past 50 degrees (which is the lowest reading on the guage). So I don't dare give it anything till it warms up. On the other side, the water temp warms up pretty quick. I have an 80 degree thermostat so it heats the water up pretty quickly. Just takes oil a bit longer. There was a write up somewhere about how autos work. A quick read of that showed me why you take it easy with an auto before it wrms up. Scarey stuff.

Tab mate, I can't remember what happened last week let alone last year. When was it? Was it November? My bwain hurts.

I will be doing this later in the year. I havent heard anything bad about and have nbeen told by my tuner its a good idea. If you find out anymore, post it please. Cheers.

I think they run about 3 pound of boost or it may be 6. I cant be sure. It is bugger all though. And Revenge mate, while I'm not having a go at Turbonator, you can expect a heap of sarcasm here. While we bad Ford, there are actually a few dash lights that mean something. If my engine light or brake fail light came on it would be poo poo time for me. Get it to Ford first thing in the morning dude. Get them to check the error code. Could be a Map sensor or something that's gone/going.

I had the same in my BF. Bought the genuine AUx kit from ford. But there is another one with a pre amp on it and it fixes that issue. That may be what you need.

FWD is all money driven. The car companies ALWAYS look for a cheaper option - proof? I give you front wheel drive. Yes F1 have big rubber, so too do feraris and lambos. Why? Cause cost isnt an option. The best performance is the way to go. RWD all the way for me. I hate FWD. Always have, always will.
