My only complaint about todaythough, being an ex copper, it would have been great for the local TMU to have supplied a Falcon highway car for display. Or at least park it somewhere. Great PR. Instead, they sat down the road as we were leaving in a bloody Holden (At least they knew their place) I meant to also thank Gary for the great job on the info sheets. Well guys an absolute awesome day. Shame about the eraly rain, but it cleared and it was fantastic. Half a dozen of us sitting around talking crap surrounded by some of the most awe inspiring cars you'd ever hope to see. Shame we couldn't collar Alan but Jim Richards signature on my rocker cover is something I'll cherish. I swear my car had more power on the way home. We had a great spot. We will have to bring a tent or similar next year. Thanks Gary for organising this, and thank to everyone that came for making it a real social day. (I owe you a couple of beers mate...will catch ya on the Alpine cruise for sure)

Yeah I use my blackberry. I got a cheap little clock to clip onto the air vents but it lost 11 hours over 3 days so chiucked it. I have heard you can get the iss re programmed to show a clock nbut I beleive it comes at a cost, that is, you loose some other functionality of either the icc or the lcd on tthe instrument cluster.

Bigkeels, you have the same setup as me, premo ICC and 3 guages. What do you use for a clock?????

I've read numerous threads about how poor brembo rotors are when it comes to wear. Can anyone give me an idea on how quick they actually wear out? Like do they last 12 months or 50,000k or what? thanks

I like the iridium ones, but as a single dad with three kids I couldnt justify the extra $$$. They are definately good. The oz guages are ok as well. The ones I have are basically the same as the oz guages. Mechanical boost is old school. So too is mechanical oil. Long gone are the days of having a oil pipe feed in behind the dash. All electric and quite frankly, your are silly to go any other way really. Well, for the street anyway. Have a hunt around though. You want to try and get something similar to your dash light colour or it will mess with your night vision. Just a thought. Pulling out the ICC is daunting but not hard, and Ford have conveniently given you a nice, big fat grommett and hole to poke the wires through the firewall.

Mate the Pole Position is the go. But yeah, hard to get onto. I got mine through a google search and bought it from a place in Perth. As for guages, screw the expendsive ones. Again, got mine off ebay. Stepmotor ones and they look ok to me. I went for Oil temp, oil pressure and boost. Heres a quick vid of them starting up (If it attaches.) They are a bit noisy in that they tick a bit when the radio is not on, but considering the price of tsome... Anyway mate, you get what you like, I'm just giving you an example and a look of the holder. Clips in, looks the goods.

It will either be a stone or may be a large peice of metal in the makeup of the pad. If its not constant it wont be the rattle springs/clips which I assume the brembos have. Take them off and clean them and look at the pad surface. Also look at the disc for scoring marks.

Ahh so the ICC screen itself is working. Id say a globe or you have shorted something with you wireing champ

GMKILLER, when you hear the flutter on decel from a short intake, you will say "BOV? WTF is a BOV for???" Flutter is AMAZING. Scares old ladies, makes dogs runs for cover, and gives the guy around the corner with his rice burner sylvia the sh1ts everytime I go past his house and him and his mates are out the front contemplating more eagle stickers. BOV.......You won't want one.

Have u replaced all the plugs at the bottom you would have pulled out? The other thing is, when you adjust the readio do you get ANY display? You may have held down the on/off button for too long and that turns the display off. You just have to hold that in again until it comes back on if that's the case.

Secaboy, I can think of nothiong more annoying mate. Seriously. A couple of those things just don't sound right. The backfiring? What? Normal? On a new emission compliant car? WTF? I mean really, WTF? If it was me I would write a very well worded letter (let me know, I am DYNAMITE with a pen) to Ford and basically tell them what youve said hgere....The TRD AUrion was a dream compared to this POS. They will HATE that. I'd write to them and demand this bee looked at and I'd even mention the word "LEMON". Mate, IMO not good enough. Glad you god some things fixed, but backfiring? My 370 rwkw with a 4" exhaust NEVER backfires even after I can the thing. Yeah its tuned but surely standard doesnt run THAT rich.
