Saw A vid of the smb 4" to 3.5" on youtube. Sounds good. Power wise I'm chasing 350+. I think this is the way I will go. Cheers for the advice. Current tune I think the boost peaks at 14 then tapers off.

Whats smb? and does tunehouse supply there own exhaust? Thing is I live up north in townsville.
-
Another update. The exhaust is apparently another 2 months away.... I hope this thing is worth the wait. I'm thinking of going APS.. 4 months wait is a bit long... We'll see what happens. Is anyone else waiting for 1 as well?
-
yeah maybe that is about right then. with the dyno and that. I think tunehouse has a pretty good name around here too so I'd trust them. They might cost a bit, but they will do it right. my surgetank was a bit cheaper cause it was scratched or something, but kev said its just cosmetic and wont affect it really at all. Which doesnt bother me cause the thing sits under the car anyway, and I'll probably never see it. that's interesting, I didn't know that you had to re-dyno the car after you fit it, I didn't ask about that. But that's alright, mine is going on the dyno soon to fit my 4" exhaust, PW race intake and surge tank/pump anyway. I'm just wondering now if it's worth doing the plenum at the same time and the turbo mods?? But only want around the 350 mark,or maybe a touch more reliably..

Hey Steve mate, I think that does sound a bit expensive. I bought the surgetank and the pump for about 900 I think, I also bought the wiring harness, which was about 150. so $1050 for the gear. With the wiring harness the install should be fairly quick and easy, it shouldn't cost 500 for them to install it. I'm going to get my tuner to install it for me just so I know it's done right. I think kev from process west said it should only take an hour or 2 for a professional to install it, so 500 bucks worth of labour sounds dodgy. Give him a call if you got any questions, his number is on the website, or look in the advertisers section, and maybe send him a private message.

ok sweet cheers mate.

Hey Boys, Just a quick question, I just bought the process west fuel pump/ surge tank. Do I have to do the intank pump as well, or will this setup be fine? I'm only chasing about 350rwkw, so just wondering if the stock fuel pump, + the process west one will be ok. Thanks for your help lads.

Hey boys thanks for the help. I just bought the Process West intake with the 6" k&n filter. Looks awesome, just waiting for it to arrive now. Also bought the Process west fuel pump surge tank as well. After looking around a bit more I like the look of their gear. PROCESS WEST - Ford XR6 Turbo - XR6 Turbo Race Air Box System PROCESS WEST - Ford XR6 Turbo - Fuel Anti-Surge System All I need now is a battery relocation kit (to the boot) and my 4" nizpro exhaust and a another tune. Should be sweet. I wonder how much power I'm gonna get. Anyone know who is doing relocation kits to the boot?

Whats the deal with the custom pipe? Diametre etc. And is will it end up being the same as the rapid video? Ive been thinking about getting the process west Cold air intake. It's a 6" k&n filter with 4" piping. It looks the goods. Has anyone else got one of these and whats it like. I'm chasing the cool induction / dose noise also. Farkin love that sh!t. http://www.processwest.com.au/website/prod_xr6t/pw_product_fordxr6_racekit.htm

Just an update. Car has been missing in first at about 4500rpm. took it back to get it sorted. They reflashed it with the same tune and it came up with about 290rwkw. Bit of a jump from the first time. Weird, same car same tune.. The exhaust is still about 4 weeks away, so hoping to easily get over 3 hungy with it..
-
Yeah current mods are, nizpro cooler, nizpro injectors, and tune, also 4"dump. modified air box. I'm thinking about going the 4" in airbox.
-
Hey everyone. I've got the nizpro stage 1 plus kit on my bf f6 07 ZF. At the moment I'm getting about 265rwkw, and 940nm, at a peak of 14 psi then dropping off. Low power due to the hot humid air in townsville I've been told. I'm waiting on the nizpro 4 " exhaust to arrive then that's going on to. I've been looking at rapid systems 4inch intake and airbox kit, this kit says it's suited to flow over 350rwkw. I don't intend on making more power than that but figure it'll be easier cleaning the filter in the box, rather than removing the front bumper with their under battery kit. Just wondering if I go ahead with it how much more power do you think I'll make with the intake kit, and new exhaust. And do you think I'll need a fuel pump to support the extra power?, or even any other mods you think I should check out, or I might be missing? End reult that I'd like would probably be about 350rwkw. Oh yeah, does anyone know if the rapid 4" intake kit will fit in with the nizpro piping connecting up to the standard plenum? Cheers for your help.

Yeah, the stock guages are sh*t. I've still got mine, just waiting for some autometer guages to go in. When mine was stock at full boost they used to go up to about halfway or just over... Whatever that means... But after getting it tuned it boosts right off the scale now. So who knows what the f#%K is going on. Rip 'em out and throw some decent ones in there. that's what I'm gonna do. I know It's an old post though.. you've probably already sold the car.
-
Who tuned it for you mate?
-
yeah, have you been using them? The boys there that I deal with normally are Tom and Ian, they always happy to answer my questions. Car is running nice atm. good street tune. Only thing I think I need is some decent guages. fpv stock ones tell you sweet Fark all. its good to see another townsville local on here.
-
My apologies to nizpro. the title of this thread sounds like I'm dissin your gear. My bad. Wasnt my intention.
-
Yeah mate sure am. Aitkenvale auto and dyno.

I've got the 07 BF Mk2 zf auto F6 Typhoon. I'm up north queensland in Townsville. Do you have some good news for me mate?
-
Still waiting for a new batch to come in.. Could take up to 2 months I think. So I have to wait. I wonder if there are any NPIA members out there with the exhaust in stock left over from the last batch? hint hint... Send it my way please.

Went in and saw my tuner today, He is going to order me in the nizzy 4". I will let you all know how it goes with my other nizzy stage 1 plus mods. Thanks for all the feedback. Much appreciated.
-
Hey, thanks everyone for the help. I think I'll go for it then. You all sound like happy customers. Can't wait to get it fitted. What other mods do you think I should do to get up around the 350-370rwkw mark?
-
I've recently been thinking about putting the nizpro 4" exhaust on my car. Current mods are nizpro stage 1 plus, But without the nizpro cat. Didn't wanna put it on because it seemed like a waste if I was gonna buy the whole 4" system anyway. Make about 270rwks atm. Does anyone know what sort of rwkw figure I will get with my current setup, plus the 4" exhaust. Also I've heard that the new nizpro 4" exhaust drones at cruising speeds, is there anyone out there with this sort of exhaust that can say wether this is true or not? Cause I like the quiet system I've got at the moment. 1 last thing, Is it true Nizpro are developing an even newer 4"system, similiar to the xforce varex system, to overcome the drone? Has anyone heard of this? Cause I'll be holding out for it if its true. Sorry bout all the questions, but any help would be good. Thanks in advance.

Hey Everyone, I've got an orange 07 f6. And Am about to have a nizpro stage 1 plus kit installed. I've asked my tuner to remove the bov, so I can get the turbo flutter noise as well. I'm just wondering if I also fit a dose pipe to the turbo, will this affect performance? And will it cause damage to the turbo, motor components etc. That dose noise is awesome.
