These Tires are the best I've put on my car, ben through alot now, Yokohama V103's, Goodyear eagle asymetircs, dunlops, falkens First got the pilot supersport fited to the front at jaxquickfit tyrese here in Brissie. Cost over 700 each fitted for 245/35/r19.. Massive ripoff. While I was there I asked for a quote to get 265's for the back, they wanted over $900 per tyre.. I ended up buying 2 265's from tirerack for $319 each, plus roughly 300 for shipping, so saved about $900 bucks. I will buy all my tires from this site from now on. Oh yeah, and they grip awesome, seem to handle the 410rwkw pretty good so far.
  4. Hi, just wondering if anyone has a good way to fix the cable that joins onto the zf box from the shifter. Mine came off yesterday and was stuck in park. I've slipped it back on but it easily pops off now.

  8. Hi, My ZF auto is on its way out, slipping through 3rd and 4th gears, does anybody know roughly how much it would cost to rebuild my ZF trans to handle my 410 rwkw, or up to around 450rwkw? And does anybody know where I could get this done? I live in Brisbane. Thanks guys.
  9. Hi All, After chucking in some Atomic valve springs to stop my valve float, car pulled 410rwkw. But I've noticed that when I hold the ZF in manual mode when I'm starting to get mid high revs in 4th on WOT the box pauses sh*tsitself, and drops back to 3rd and redlines and doesn't wanna change... Whats goin on? And does anyone know a place in Brissie where I could get this problem sorted? Thanks.
  10. Hi everyone. Ok I'll make it quick, the car is an 07bf f6 ZF 6 speed auto. Current mods, Process west surge, Process West Race Intake, Drycell in boot, Nizpro jectors plenum intercooler. Nizpro modded turbo, 12pound actuatos. SMB 4" to 3.5" exhaust. Back when it was tuned the tuner told me no more boost could be put in because it would get valve float around the 380rwkw mark. So I'm wondering if I replaceed the valve springs How much more psi could I pump in? And what sorta power could I expect? And would my engine with stock internals handle it? Current tune 376rwkw 17psi peak. Thanks in advance for your input!
  11. Hey Lads, I'm considering selling the car as I'm looking at buying a house. Just asking for advice on a fair price is for my ride. OK, it's a BF Mk2 Typhoon, octane. Car comes with full history log books,conpendium, certificate of authenticity, receipts for all work/services done, Including dyno graphs. around $14,000 spent on good quality mods. Plus more on servicing tyres etc. It got a some mods to take it up to just under 380rwkw, 1100nm. SMB turbo back 4" to 3.5" full stainless system. with 5" cat. Process West Race intake kit. Process west surge tank with 044 fuel pump Nizpro cooler (the newer one) Nizpro plenum Nizpro drilled ingectors Nizpro modded turbo with 12 pound actuator SCT Flash tuner 3 Big Drycell battery relocated to boot. Asked for one big enough power a decent sized speaker system, but ended up buying a home theatre system instead. So a bit overkill. Good quality rubber all round, probably at 90%. Cant remember what sort of tyres though, but they are good, I didn't skimp. Car always runs 98. I've never put a tank of anything but BP ultimate in it. It's just ticked over to 51,000 k's. It was only modded 5000 k's ago. Stock suspension, Stock brakes, the 4 pot brembo's. In good shape well looked after. Headlight/ Bonnet protectors, window tint, all the other usual sh*t. Thanks in advance for your honest opinion. Oh yeah, It's never been raced, and no quarter mile runs.

    Oh yeah, I kept an eye on the boost guage, (FPV Stock one). It just maxes out and stays there. I think It just hits the limiter during shifts when I floor it.

    Went for a decent drive today, had a few launches to see if I could get the problem to replicate. (Hard to do around town) After having a decent drive I think it's cause I was hitting the rev limiter after changing first into second, during the shift, causing it to splutter into second. I started shifting just before 4000rpm and problem gone. Hopefully this is all it was.. But still spewin about the whole nissan thing. I might throw it on a dyno next time I have a chance and see what sorta power it's got. But after todays drive the power felt good. So I'm suss and am begining to think that maybe the 370z was worked? Anyway, I'm f*ckin embarrased.

    Thanks for the help guys, Definetly something wrong here if the nissan was pulling away. Would love to get it sorted Brett. And yeah, the nissan sounded stock, definetly no turbo. I don't know what the f*ck is going on. My Car knowledge is fairly limited.

    Hey, When cruising and I plant my foot it feels like the engine almost cuts out, then bam the power is on. the power comes on smooth though after it's initial hesitation, almost feels like it backfires. and it does it even in manual mode. If I plant it in first it hesitates and feels like it almost cuts out before the power comes on. Anybody else have this problem, or know what causes it? It an o7 BF Mk2 Typhoon. Mods 4" to 3.5" SMB exhaust, nizpro plenum, cooler, ptocess west air box, surge tank. nizpro injectors. 370rwkw. Also when I nail it I can only get wheel spin from first to second shifts, I thought that with this much power it would wheel spin a lot more? Feels like the power has gone down a bit since the tune, I had a run against a nissan 370z and I'm guessing that's 370 flywheel kw, and it was pulling away from me, I would have thought that my 370rwkw 1100nm phoon would of at least kept up or even beaten it?? The car missing for the first bit when I really nail it probably gave the nissan a jump start. But it's pissing me off. Any ideas guys?

  17. Yeah, My nizpro cooler looks good nice finish, and the plenum turned out better than I thought it was gonna be. I was expecting a fairly ordinary finish with it but when it was installed it looked really good.
  18. I mixed both nizpro and process west. They both good. Process west stuff does look alot better. Kent did you start with nizpro gear on your ute? And then change over to process west?

  21. Good Year Eagle f1's. They grip awesome. Best tyre I've used do far, Ive used the falkens, and the Yokohama V103's. I will use good year from now on. I was looking at the Ad08's in 245/35/r19. I was told they are not load rated to my bf phoon.
  22. I've got the 5" cat. When we first found it didn't fit correctly Grant mentioned the wrong cat had been sent. Although the 5" cat was supplied as requested. I said I'd send it back if he sent the newer one. But as I was in a hurry to get the exhaust on (cause my car was out of action) it was decided the spacer would be a quicker option. Although after all the stuffing around turns out it wasn't. Hopefully noone else has the same problem as me, and these newer cats fit better. But Like I said, now that the whole thing fits correctly it sounds good. Nice and quiet in the car.
