Hey probly a stupid question but im just wondering when you change the tranny oil do you need a pump to fill the box back up??? if you do what is it called and where can I get one from? sorry feel like an idiot haha but gravity is gettin the better of me. oh and how much does it suck you can only buy tranzmax z in 4 liter bottles when you need 4.5 litres!!

my ba also has this problem but it seems to only do it when it is warming up. When it gets up to temp it is fine. could this be a cold start tune problem??

Okay I'm going to re-locate my battery to my boot and I just want to get some ideas on mounting the box. I was reading another thread and found that the fuel tank follows the floor of the boot. I really don't want to put a hole in the tank, because that would suck, I was thinking of tack welding some box steel to the floor to build it up a bit and go from there. Any other comments or ideas would be sweet Oh and should I do a how to guide or something???

Yeah it does stop when you push the clutch in. sweet ill give the transmax a go cheers

I have just bought a ba xr6t that has had a 6 speed manual box conversion, the diff gears were changed to match the box and I THINK it has a stage 3 mal wood clutch in it. The problem is, when the car warms up and is in neutral it sounds like the throw out bearing is gone. Is this normal for this clutch or am I up for a bearing change?? also it doesnt seem to make the noise when the car is cold. I dont know much about clutches etc. so any advice is appreciated. thanks

im installing a GReddy turbo timer on my 03 xr6T and need to know where the speed signal wire on the ecu is so I can splice it. can any one help???

ok so I had my mind set on buying a ba xr6turbo because of the fact you can get them so cheap these days. But now im told if I want to do what im thinking im going to do. which is build an xr6t to run 11 secs down the quarter and an everyday driver. im better off spending the extra money and getting a BF with the typhoon engine. my question to you is, if, by the end of my build, I end up changing alot of the standard inferior parts of the ba will the later model be worth the extra coin???? thanks. jake

hey just want to know what the stock engine limits are of a ba mk1 xr6t are? as I am buying one and want to know what sort of mods I can do before I have to open her up basicaly what is a safe boost that can screw it up to. and what power can the internals hold. The dream is to run 11s. I know to get to this stage I will have to look inside but what power will I need to get these. any tips on good/important upgrades would be cool too. thanks
