    I have a 2006 model BF MKII xr6t 6sp manual and was just wondering how much power the gearbox will handle? I have tried to find info on it but only seem to relate to the auto

    I got mine from walkers auto one. Supercheap didn't seem to have hoses that large sold by the metre

    In the intercooler workshop page scroll down to "Bumper Removal". It will tell you how to remove the front bar. It's really easy I just did mine last w/e. The intercooler isn't that hard to remove. If your new one doesn't fit exactly then just get some bits made up. I got two pieces of piping made for mine and it only cost me $45 from nissan welding at yamanto.

    I have bought some parts to do this but mine would just work off a switch. Not sure when I will install it though. Just make sure you turn it off when your at the drags. If you get caught squirting water on the track you will be in the sh*t

    ] Yeah I would but I dont have the extra $350. My 3.5 inch high flow cat is costing me $480 installed. Will do it later. Hopefully the tune wont be as much then as it will just be a retune

    Putting in a high flow cat and am getting it tuned on friday the 25th of july. Will put up the results when I get them. Anyone have an idea of how much power it should make? Won't be replacing the injectors yet so I'm hoping for 260kw

    Your in the same position as me. It's not much more to buy injectors etc for more power. But once you have the power your after your going to need a new clutch which isn't cheap. Just remember to keep money aside for a clutch

    Just finished the install yesterday and hope to be getting it tuned soon. I replaced all the cold side piping, intercooler and intake. Also added an oil catch can. Here are the pics of the result:

    Where abouts are BPS located? How much did you pay for the tune?

    Ok. I didn't think there would be that much to it but I've never owned a ford so didn't know. The last car I got tuned was my r32 at Motsons at cooper's plains. Thanks for the advice. Will talk to APC anyway cause I have to take my bro there to pick up his evo.

    I just don't see why it would cost that much. Say they charge $100 an hour and work on it for three hours plus say $200 dyno fee. I would think it would be a max of $500. Because if they know what there doing I don't think it would take 3 hours to tune.

    Just wondering if you can install the factory BOV on the hot side piping? Or does it have to be on the cold side? I have only ever seen it installed on the cold side so wasn't sure.

    While I have the car apart I was wondering about fitting an oil catch can. Anyone done it or have a pic of it installed on their xr6t? How hard are they to mount?

    I have taken two pics of the horn. One is of the wires the other is where I relocated it to. Make sure you mount the bracket first before you try to see if it works. I tried the horn when it wasn't mounted (just sitting on the ground) and it hardly made a sound. But then once it was mounted it worked fine.

    Also is it ok to install the BOV on the hot side piping? Or does it have to connect to the cold side?

    Yeah it was a bit of a pain. The headlight just fits but. I'm just waiting on some brackets and parts for the BOV then I will be able to put it all back together.

    The kit I have has the flange already welded to the cold side pipe. But the wiring of the sensor goes towards the fuse box so doesn't go to the other side where the cold piping is. Was thinking of extending the wires if I really had to. Does it matter if you just use some vac hose? Like will it still work just as good? Thanks for the help

    Just pulled the car apart today and have come across two problems. The first problem is that the sensor is on the left hand side and my cold piping is on the right hand side. What did you guys do to move the sensor? My other problem is where to put the horns? There is no room left because the intercooler is in the way. Where did you guys mount the horn? How much room I have Horn I need to mount somewhere The sensor I need to move to the other side

    $895 just for a retune of the cappa flash tuner? Seems like allot of money just for a retune.

    Ok thanks. Anyone recommend any tuners around Brisbane / Ipswich? Was thinking of trying APC at underwood because my bro uses them allot with his evo and seems to be happy with them. If I get a tune I’m going to have to replace my injectors aswell to handle the extra power. Any idea on how much it would cost for a tune and injectors?
