Looking at getting the tripod and a boost, AFR and oil temp gauge for my BF MKII xr6turbo ute. Just wondering who you guys have used to install your gauges? Someone located in the ipswich/brisbane area would be good. Also how much would I be looking at to get all three installed?

Yeah hard to find one that isn't held in place by velcro or double sided tape (dont see the velcro/tape lasting long). Is there one the uses the factory mounting? Anyone know where I can get one that uses standard mounting like the one in the link above?

Skid pan sounds good. I went and watched my bro's club do it and it looks like so much fun. Your allowed to have passengers aswell which is good. If your down on numbers I can get a few evo's to come along

Not sure what day I'm heading out there yet. Seems to be allot of powerful cars heading out so it should be a great w/e. Anyone going to willowbank drags tomoz night? My bro just got his evo back from APC and wants to take it out for a run. Would be good to see how the xr6t go against him. I'm just disappointed my car isn't ready yet

Did they replace your spark plugs for the tune? If they did what ones did they use?

How much boost are you running for this tune? And have you done any mods to the turbo?

Just wondering how much boost/power the bf mkii can handle? My tuner said he prob wouldn't boost it over 12pound because of the power it makes and just having stock engine internals.

Went to have it tuned yesterday and after putting it on the dyno they told me to do injectors and fuel pump. I didn't want to at first but am going to now. Car was making 295.2rwkw but the injectors and fuel pump need to be replaced so they can get more power out of it. At the moment its back to stock tune until I go back to have a custom tune in a couple of weeks. Was running 10pound boost for this dyno run

I have been driving it slow for the last week because of my new cooler and piping so when I got the cat I didn't notice. I have just been changing gears at 2000rpm and its been fine ( heaps better on fuel aswell). I dropped it off this arvo to get it tuned tomoz

I got the 3.5" stainless steel high flow cat which they recommend and it cost me $480 installed. There is a 3" high flow aswell which installed is 300 and something but was advised to get the 3.5". Was told that they only recently were able to bring the price down to $480 it used to be around $600. Very good quality cat they showed me it before they installed it, I would have taken pics but didn't think of it. Very good service aswell I'm sure they won't mind answering any questions

I'm getting my car tuned on friday and was just wondering what fuel to put in it for the tune? I know it prob wont make a big difference but thought I would ask anyway.

Had the same problem with my old r32 skyline I just left it. Wasn't sure how to fix it

I'm getting a 3.5" high flow cat this week. Just wondering if changing the cat will change the note of the exhaust at all?

Why can't things just be a straight swap. Or would that make life to easy haha

My uncle is selling his car so the mags that were on it he was going to sell to me for my xr6t. They have been removed from an ss Late model camira that has a 5 stud pattern. When I went to fit them to my ute the holes didn't all line up. I thought this was strange so I went and got the old mags that were on my dads mitsubishi to see if they fit. They were also a five stud pattern and fitted straight on. Do Expensive Daewoo have a different stud spacing or would it just be the mags? These are the mags that wouldn't fit. The brand is AMG and they are 19"

They are built more as a circuit car not a drag car. And like the xr6t there is very little you have to do to make them very quick.

They need to improve the entire shape of the STI. Dunno what they were thinking

mmm nah I like the shape of the 8 and 9. Not sure bout the 10 yet will have to wait until I see it up close
