  1. they use a heat gun stops the paint from cracking
  2. I paid 150 for both rear guards to be rolled The guy came out and rolled them on the spot. Google mobile guard rolling in your state see what you find. my car has been lowerd and runs 20's
  3. I use to run two Bosch 044's a surge tank and a pre pump in the boot of my rx2. The rx2 had been checked by the department of transport many times. I even asked the transport guy if there was any problems with the pumps and surge tank being in the boot. There response was it has the appropriate breather set-up so no problems (in QLD). Your Car is coming along nicely
  4. I'am sure the 20's are a hell of allot less than the genuine 19's. And from what I have herd you can get the rims widened which if you factor it into the initial purchase price would still most likely cost less than buying the genuine argents. Main reason for load ratings is that insurance will knock you back if not over 93f. My car is insured properly with all mods and I would like to keep it this way
  5. according to the load index on the Tyre power website 710kg equals 96 on the load rating chart. So 800kg has to be a higher load rating. Also the load rating is listed in the first column as 100y (xl)
  6. Oh they must be lying on there website then. I have never herd of these tires till about a week ago
  7. also the tyres are load rated at 800 per side so I cannot see a problem with running the 225 on a 20 inch rim the spec of the tire are here http://www.zeetex.com.au/ 225/35/20
  8. dunno bout that 225's are illigal on these rims which I doubt very much as they are sold day in day out and the enginner that was in the workshop said nothing at the time to me. The rears are only 8.0 as far as I know
  9. Back rims sit to close to the inner gaurd it does not touch but with a hevy load might have a problem so I'am getting them rolled on thursday. I was told to go with 225 front tyres as they will clear the shocks on a bf. The rears I have gone for 245's but eventually want to run 265's these were bought from advance tyres in richmond

  16. I'am glad I gave you a good reason to replace your front bar karl. You should be use to being behind the f6
  17. there is a capicity to weight ratio in qld. For example legally I couldn't put a 13bt into a rx2 coupe etc. But there are ways around it thanks to mr mod plate man. Iam sure if it has been done properly there wont be any issues with mod plateing it for QLD
  18. The tein super streets with edfc has 2 year warrenty. They were fitted to my car last month. The edfc is awsome I can adjust it while in the car. My setup alltogether cost a little under 3g installed and setup with whitline front and rear swaybars. It was not brand new but still has 1 year warrenty left on it. I would never go back to the floating stock typhoon suspension.
