well I found the problem after I got some car stands instead of using the stupid sissor jack. I didn't realise there was a sensor in the side of the cat as soon as I touched it it fell out so I tightened it and put some lock tight on it and now no rattle thanks for all your advise

ill give that actuator trick a go but why would it rattle like that if it was the actuator the car never rattled before the exhaust was fitted

Hi I just got a xforce stainless steel exhaust system fitted 4inch dump 3.5 inch cat go's into quads etc. I have a annoying rattle coming from either the cat or rubbing on something. I have checked and can't see it rubbing anywhere maybe a bolt inside the exhaust???? Anyway have tried contacting the company that fitted but are on holidays until 5 jan. It has been like this since I picked it up Friday and is annoying the sh*t out of me what are your thoughts on what it can be

hey mic mtq or motsons do kits but as said above if you want to go the cheap way use 2lte manifolds and turbo have seen great results whith these set up's rebuild kit for a 3l is about 500+gst for jap quality which is what I would use with after market turbo's can supply cheaper rebuild kits

hey mate I sell rebuild kits for 3l engines all day my neighbor just turbo charged his 3l using 2lte( surf) manifolds and turbo watch the boost as they have been known to stuff pistons and gudgeon pins. If you want it reliable you can get your injection pump setup to cope with the turbo

I am in the same boat as you typhoon freak I have just booked my exhaust to get done at exhaust innovations thanks to your recommendation typhoon freak I have been quoted a good price through Paul at elite for the nizpro turbo mod exhaust housing accuator flapper etc. I would just go see paul for a price as it sounds fairly reasonable thinks I have seen your car parked in front of mine before

this was a fd motor in my rx2 just keep the oil up to it, get a compression test done etc Most of the cars my mates have imported alway needed a rebuild or at least a seal kit put through them my rebuild cost me a fair wack due to 3mm seals fitted and guru studs put through the motor I never had a problem unless I was to wind the boost up without using c16

mine are on 18's 450 a Tyre but some idiot at Goodyear quoted 589 each I just laughed

I'am in spare parts 15% increase on all imported parts which is everything my company sells bar engine building labor

I just put some Michelin pilot preceda's on the rear of my phoon and it doesn't break traction through 2nd gear anymore I'm amazed how well these tires grip with next to no road noise they are the best road tire I have driven on
