Does anyone have exact numbers of turbo sedans and turbo utes that are going to be made? Hopefully they will limit numbers to keep them a bit special. Ordered a sedan in Lightning Strike with auto. Will be sad to see the BA go.

The one I fitted to mine had Sonic Performance on it. It was genuine Earls fittings and filter. When I asked who made the lines, I was told that they are made here in Australia by MTQ. Not sure if you can buy direct, but Lee at RDP supplied it at a good price.Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. The BF and FG short is going to cost $2400 from Ford. Can you give me an idea of the price on the phoon motor please. I was going to use this while building up the original with the good gear. To make this swap worthwhile, I am trying to achieve between 350 to 480 rwkw until the other block is finished. I looked everywhere and could not find the answer so I have had to post the question. Does anyone know the difference if any between the BF MKII and the FG FPV short motors? Also will the FG FPV short, bolt into a BA MKII with all standard BA parts I.e manifolds, cross pipes, engine mounts etc? What kw should the FG FPV motor handle? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hi CaRtZ, Just make sure that the C/W and T/W cannot touch the housings at all when dry. If there is clearance there all is good. Cheers

Hi Wilbaz, any good turbo shop can do the job for you. Firstly you need to work out what you are trying to achieve. I had a T04Z comp wheel and 38mm wastegate flapper installed, great top end but laggy as. The standard 35 will handle 450rwhp quite well. I had mine done at MTQ in Brisbane, good job good price and located nationally. Cheers

Just wondering if the FPV intercooler is that much better than the standard XR6T unit and does it bolt directly in. If this is a viable upgrade, does anyone know what they roughly sell for ? Also has anyone done this conversion and how did they find the result? Cheers

Very frustrating!!!!! It wasn't as noticable until I had the mod work done. Has anyone tried replacing the converter? If so did it fix the problem and what converter was used. Cheers

Does anyone know of what can only be described as an overdrive in third gear on an BA MKII auto. There is a noticeable RPM drop when driving under normal conditions in tiptronic mode. Is this normal ? Cheers

Having very recently purchased a 2005 XR6 Turbo with 46,000k's on the clock and never owning one before, some information would be appriciated if possible. 1: What is the best oil filter to use 2: What are general thoughts on the Fram Racing HP1 filter 3: Would full synthetic oil be recommended at these KM's I have had a few mods done and is producing around 300 rwkw. Any other helpful info would also be greatly appriciated. Thanks in advance.
