Mmmm not sure about legalities jas98 but should be ok as I'm taking the car to the UK january. Their modification laws are very relaxed there I think they only look at ride hight. -

It will be a ram air from the the lower front bumber area. so therefore will still be a cold air intake I think -
Air Intake Repositioning On Ba Turbo
turbo proud replied to turbo proud's topic in Fuel System & Induction Workshop
Is it ok to do this on a standard untuned engine will the engine management system play up ? -
Hi guys Just wondering on a BA turbo can you disconnect the turbo air intake from the top splitter block that off and then connect a direct cold intake straight to the the front of the turbo. ? I was thinking of putting a pipe and kn cone filter under the battery area giving the turbo more air feed

For good stance I have been advised to fit OZracing coilovers with + - 70mm check link. Not sure if you get them in Aussie but that's what I have been advised to use here in NZ http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=20445&cat=554&page=1

What To Spend My Suspension $$$ On
turbo proud replied to mjadeb1984's topic in Suspension and Handling
Hey guys whats your thinking on Oz coilovers for My BA have a look at the link below. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=20445&cat=554&page=1 -
Hi Guys, I am looking at Taking my XR6T to the Uk soon ( will be a very rare car there ) but I need a new or replacement colour command screen as my old one has bleed out from some blown LED's ( I think that's what it is ) and it got hit and has now been cracked. Are they easy to get and replace? I live in NZ at the moment and nobody here seems to have any not even the Ford dealers. It's for the dual climate premium sound system.

Ok guys have followed these steps and the car (2004 BA ) tries to lock then unlocks instantly and sound the horn as if a door is not shut properly. Have been all round the car and shut everything twice to make sure and still same results. I have reprogrammed the remote twice with same results. Any ideas or do I take it to Ford and pay the hefty price ?
-
Hey guys I have follwed your instructions for an loc but it wont power up and until I put the constant live on its remote lead which is supposed to go to the subs , But that is all it will do but still not getting any sound from the subs, any ideas, I have even tied straight from the rear shelf speakers as well as the sub wires
-
well it is really easy just take the underneath of the shelf down pull out the connectors from their block and re align. I have the premium pack. Wonder if you can cut the shelf a little to fit a 10" sub?
-
seeing as the amp is meant to be the same rms as the sub it is more likely that the amp is actually under powered in true rms compared to the speaker.
-
I have got to say I was a little sceptic that swapping the polarity would make any difference but in the last 5 mins I have changed them over and I must adnit that yes it does actually make a big difference.

Hi guys Having big stereo builds in all my cars worth thousands I have learnt that one reason the sub farts at high volume is also because the amp does not have enough power to push the sub to its fullest. Saying that I want to put a big system in the car and wondered if anyone has seen any pictures of custom builds put in to a 04 BA not just ready made boxes ?
